back from the gulf!!!!

Nice to be back at home!!!!!

For the last 4 months I was "consulting" aboard a Canadian frigate in the "gulf". Let me tell you that my first kiss from my wife and daughter and my first "Sleeman's Cream Ale" went downvery smooth!!!!!

canuk... i'm in the US navy, wondering if the canadians have the same thing we do... after 45 days consecutive at sea with no ports, you get a beer day (every person gets 2 beers, even the contractors and military guests)... do the canadians not have the same thing or the beer was that forgettable?

the key for us is having people send in "bonus" contraband alcohol so we can get toasty in our workcenters after our shifts and drift to sleep merry and cheered up.
