The Rancher claims he only fired warning shots that day. He claims that he fired those warning shots when he saw a man with an AK-47 in the trees pointing his weapon at the Rancher.

This story is starting to stink and the smell is coming from the Rancher.

Let me get this straight. You carry a weapon for self protection. A man on your property is aiming a rifle at you, and you fire warning shots? Why didn’t the guy with the AK cut you down? While you are making noise he would certainly be tempted to fire wouldn’t he?

Why would you fire warning shots at a man aiming a weapon at you? It’s no wonder he was arrested and charged.

Somebody shot the dead guy in the back according to reports.

His story makes no sense. We are talking about Cartels that fight the Mexican Army and Police regularly. Yet one old man in New Mexico scared them off by firing over their heads?

We are talking about Mexico which has State Department Don’t Go There warnings for six of the 32 states. Where 39 people died from Cartel Violence just a couple weeks ago.

But these hardened criminals who outnumbered this fellow by how much? They were frightened off and ran back to Mexico because this old man fired a couple warning shots? Really?

Popping rounds off at people. Your warning shots fired over their heads. That is actually illegal.

So we are back to the same idiocy as we saw in Brunswick with the McMichaels. Morons who think the laws say what they think it should.

Innocent until proven guilty doesn’t have anything to do with the arrest. It applies to rights before and during a trial. The Prosecutor has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty.

Getting a verdict of Not Guilty is a lot harder when you tell the police that you have been committing felonies.

And claiming that you shot around them, but did not shoot any of them, even my accident, is an even harder sell. Especially when one is found later with a bullet hole in his back close to where you were shooting.

So far this doesn’t look like another damned Democrats destroying the nation situation. It looks like another idiot who had no idea what the law said and talked his way into trouble because he confused I have rights with I am right.

I read it. The problem is that you are the ignorant one.

I posted the link to one of the criminal charges good old George is facing. Aggravated Assault. Shooting over someone’s head, is a Felony. It is Aggravated Assault. That statement of his is enough to see him spend the rest of his life in Prison, even if nobody had been hurt.

Self defense? If you shoot the guy in the back you can’t claim self defense. You just can’t.

Good old George’s story doesn’t make sense. If he was telling the truth George would be dead. So he can’t be telling the truth.
