Let's see, who was it that was in the White House in 2020? Funny that just 8 months after he became president again, it's now lower than at any time during the Biden tenure.

Gas Prices Go Down, but How Low Will They Go?

WASHINGTON, DC (August 21, 2025) – As gas prices keep falling this summer, the big question is how low will they go? This past week, the national average for a gallon of regular fell three cents to $3.13. You’d have to go back to 2020 for a lower national average on August 21 – that day the price was $2.18. With gas prices for this day the lowest they’ve been in 5 years, some are wondering if the national average will go below $3 a gallon in the coming weeks.

How is it when gas prices were LOWER in Jan 2025 than they currently are.

At least I used a reputable source, month after month.

FACT, according to this AAA site, gas prices are ACTUALLY higher today than when trump took office.

Trump policy lowered oil prices by 25% and usually lower gas prices ensue. That hasn’t happened as much this time around. My only guess is it’s because of the inflation caused by the biden admin’s Covid money printing. Gas prices at the same level as under trump 45 would be higher now because the dollar is worth less.

The west coast from CA to Washington state all very liberal states have the highest price per gal... still over $5 in Newson's state...

trump said it is less than$2.00. Is he lying again?
If Trump was a Democrat he'd release the reserve before the midterms to lower the price.

Democrats war on oil is being reversed.

This will hurt Russia and Iran and hopefully force peace deals as oil money dries up.

All bad for democrats bent on the intentional collapse of America.

Democrats = traitors

You are still too dumb to realize the effects of OPEC+ deal brokered by trump.
This deal lasted into the biden term, and obviously was a decrease in foreign oil production, and you KNOW what that does........right?

Yea, it lowers Supply and When Demand went up after COVID, well any ECON 101 students knows what that means......... do you? Apparently NOT.

So, how about discussing the trump led OPEC+ deal..........yea, let's discuss that DEAL.
But go ahead and blame others, it's what you do best.

What do you believe I pay for gas on I-5 north of Seattle?

You COULD research it first before you answer.
But you won't.

Democrats want high gas prices to fight global warming and if one tells you different it is lying to your face.

Democrats do nothing but maliciously gaslight Americans.

In Seattle, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $4.568, with mid-grade averaging $4.839 as of late July 2025, according to AAA Fuel Prices. These prices are significantly higher than the national average due to Washington's high gas taxes and costs associated with the state's climate initiatives.

Well tell us...
Well YOU seem to know.
You tell me.

I asked you what YOU believe I pay for a gallon of gas on I-5, north of Seattle.

I'll gladly tell ya, when you tell me what I supposedly paying.
C'mon big boy. Back up your knowledge.

I posted what Google says gas is in Seattle... I didn't make it up....
Sure, and I posted reality.

Of course, I could travel to downtown Seattle to pay more, but gas is currently $3.65 on I-5.

Why are you denying this FACT?
Am I lying to you?
Is gasbuddy Lying to you?

Just wait till CA loses another refinery due to over regulation and punitive state taxes and your gas dummy will be $7 per Gal.....

I don't LIVE in CA, ya dolt.

So, you agree that I currently pay $3.65 per gallon on I-5, north of Seattle?

Yes or No.

I agree you are getting ripped off by your states leaders.
True.

Do you know the "State Tax" imposed by each State?

How much more in "State Gas Tax" does WA pay, than let's say TX.

Why is gas $1.20 or more in WA, when the "State Gas Tax" is only ......... $0.35 cents more.

WA versus TX in State gas tax.webp
