Aussies celebrate "Invasion Day"

Jan 26, Australia Day again.
More huge 'Invasion Day' protest marches.
Aboriginal flags and apparel everywhere.
"We don't want the 'Indigenous Voice To Parliament'" (to be voted on soon in a referendum, and if successful enshrined in the Constitution)...cried Indigenous protesters.
"Indigenous Rights" was another huge cry.
Wonder what on earth those Rights, that they're demanding, are?

On the public street, stood a White man and a few companions.
They had the national flag of Australia displayed, and the White man was holding a placard in front of him that read:
'I support Australia Day'

tv camera was filming...a Black man there was complaining into the camera about the White man and companions....saying, para: "I don't have a problem with that flag, I have my flag (thrusting the Indigenous flag forward) and he has his flag, but to bring that flag here today to an event like this is disrespectful."
Cops then made the White man and companions leave.

Meanwhile, in the next clip on the TV news was shown a top protester dressed in Indigenous colours, shouting out, large stick held aloft..."This is war!"

IMO they'll lose their so called 'war'....all the carry-on today etc does is cause division, segregation ('voluntary' if you like)...'us, and them'.

The next TV news showed the National Flag of Australia and the Indigenous Flag flying side by side atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge ...the host saying it showed 'harmony'.
In my eyes there was a lot on display, most of it not harmonious.

Tens of thousands protest Australia Day legacy of 'colonisation and genocide'

Tens of thousands of people rallied across Australia to call for the abolition of the annual national celebration of 26 January as they argue the day represents colonisation and the genocide of indigenous people.

While Australia Day marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the British First Fleet at Botany Bay, many indigenous Australians, who trace their lineage on the continent back 50,000 years, regard it as “Invasion Day”.

“Today marks the start of colonisation and the start of genocide and you name it,” said Jayden Riley, 17, who was marching in Sydney on Saturday wearing a vest in the colours of the Aboriginal flag.

Do you have something similar in the US ?
same again in 2024

This clip is from John Pilger's (An Australian himself) documentary Utopia, all about the real Australia.

Yes! The fucking British colonized us too.
Why can't Yanks do history?

During this time, the European empires of Spain, Portugal, Britain, France, Russia, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden began to explore and claim the Americas, its natural resources, and human capital, leading to the displacement, disestablishment, enslavement, and even genocide of the Indigenous peoples in the Americas

The Americas changed hands a few times before finally ran by the British. Often makes me wonder if our government put the thickest of the thick on the Mayflower.

John Pilger.

As usual you're in a hurry fumbling with your little phone (a modern day rosemary beads as Pilger once put it) posting an inane response just because you can, doesn't matter what you say does it, so long as you say something, anything so long as you can fool others into thinking you actually have a real opinion on anything.

Do the aboriginals want to destroy the current nation?

I haven’t got a little phone. Do you ever get anything right?

Do they speak English?
Here's a racist, interviewed for the documentary, he speaks the same language as you, the same language as the Zionists, the same language as the Third Reich. He suggest mass sterilization would solve the problem, what do you think? might this also "solve" the Palestinian "problem"?

Thats just one man’s opinion

I dont agree him him and I bet most conservative Australians dont either

And it would not surprise me to find some aboriginals who are his mirror image

The real joke is that they chosse that date to celebrate the founding of Australia.

I would reccomend The Fatal Shore. A history of early Australia by Robert Hughes. It is a nasterly account of the early days of Australia..

Apparently the first convicts had a rough voyage to Oz. They were starving and desperate when thy sighted land. The sight of the shoreline raised spirits amongst them and they broke out their booze to celebrate..

It quickly turned from a party to an orgy as whores fucked convicts and soldiers on the beach. No doubt under the respectful gaze of the natives. I exppect they were impressed at the activities of their "betters".

Such was the story of the day that the white folk celebrate.

I am sure that there is a better day to celebrate,
