ATF admits it has a gun registry

I've never assumed otherwise. NO ONE can convince me that the data they collect when the required checks are run, isn't stored in some database. The only way to avoid that, MAYBE, is to buy from a private seller and refuse to give anything but a name. The fact that the Left in DC is so adamant about demanding background checks even in private sales is directly due to that fact.

Did anyone assume that every 4473 they filled out wasn't a document that was going to be a registry?

If anything it proves that 99% of legal gun owners had no intention of becoming criminals and were not concerned about the government knowing they had guns.
