excerpts:

PHOENIX — They don’t agree on every policy, but the nation’s Republican governors were in universal agreement during their three-day meeting here: Glenn Youngkin delivered a blueprint for the GOP’s midterm comeback

Youngkin could barely walk the halls or grab a morning muffin at the swanky Arizona Biltmore resort without being stopped for a chat or a selfie. He was one of the two featured speakers at the conference’s main dinner on Wednesday night along with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp

Youngkin is young...hence the name...he can run later after The Trump-Christie era

Why would he want to become President and then just get impeached and trashed by the establishment and the press?

Dems called Virginia a "bellwether" election and now all they want to do is forget about it. A note to Youngkin: democrat Northam could get away with any statement or racist history or screwed up policy but Media Matters is waiting to spin any minor glitch or flaw by a republican into a federal case. That's the way the system works.

Rino's always think if they follow the democrats rules they can win the game and the media will applaud them for being a unifier.

They should be emulating him. He should be applauded for removing CRT from the schools.

From the OP link:

For the most part, when the governors spoke about Trump this week, it was only after media prompting. Some bluntly said it’s time for the party to move on from the former president’s baseless claims of election fraud. Most of the public remarks, however, focused on presenting the states as laboratories of conservative ideas, and casting the midterm elections as a referendum on the Biden administration and progressive “wokeness.”

Sounds like a smart strategy for moving forward.

The party won't move on from Trump while he continues to rake in huge piles of campaign cash and fill stadiums with thousands of energized Republican voters.
