The original plan was that Hill would be the primary heavyweight speaker.

So Ted stole her thunder and reinforced Obama's role in the party by remeinding people who Ted supported

And the beauty of doing this, is that Ted looks heroic, when in fact what he's really done is remarginalize Hillary.

i agree..hope and some fairy dust aren't going to be enough to lead this country at this critical time in history...i don't think obama has enough experience and i wish the democrats had nominated hillary instead.

Teddy Kennedy looked better than he has in 30 years, it was unbelievable. I didn't know brain cancer could do that for a person. And when he's not sauced, he's always interesting to listen to.

I could look at Obama all day, honestly. I could care less about his wife...the whole "our word is our bond" thing almost made me hack. Yeah, I'll bet they both learned that at their daddy's knees...but Obama and those little girls would be the best looking inhabitants the white house has ever had, and I'm including the Kennedys.

But thankfully, the Obama's won't be living in the White House, ever. Unless he wants to hitch onto Hillary's potential star in 4 years. Though I think McCAin will keep office for 8.

I want people to go off and die? That is a new one to me....

I'd rather not have people fleeing work or the responsibility of earning one's own way because a handout at the expense of someone else is easier and simply has to be voted in with the likes of Obama... but the harsh reality is that unfortunately we do have people selfishly voting to ensure a system where they can have wealth redistribution thru the handout entitlements...

I am not the most huge McCain fan... but I will definitely vote for him, even if it is more of a vote against Obama...

And yes.. there will be a large number of people with Bush Derangement Syndrome who will probably vote for Obama because of it.... even if they really would never vote for the likes of Obama if he were not running after the end of the Bush administration
