List of natural disasters by death toll - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
LOL.....scroll down.......the worst floods happened a long, long time ago. Check out Cyclone death tolls over the centuries. Droughts too........disasterous drought is nothing new to the world.
The radicals want you to think this shit started getting bad in the past few years.
A bunch of nonsense.
People get hysterical these days because this stuff is in our face 24/7.........and the same people who are perpetually in awe of this stuff are the same people you see buying two cart loads of food at the supermarket when a 6 inch storm is predicted. They are terrified of gettngs snowed in for weeks. We all know them

Some people in this world just tend toward the hysterical.
Earthquakes don't have to deal with climate change.
Not according to the k00ks. The Japan tsunami was linked to climate change a short time after it happened.

These days, any natural disaster is pinned on climate change.......and I say the more the merrier.

If the report says, "Scientists say.......", well then of course it is fact.
JapanÂ’s Tsunami could be linked to Climate Change

A sharp increase in floods, hurricanes, and landslides disasters, in recent times, throws light on why todayÂ’s scientists and social researchers are so keen on controlling man-made climate changes, say disaster experts.
If Japan, worldÂ’s third largest economy and the land of milestone inventions, could suffer heavy loss in a catastrophe, it can be well imagined what happens when calamities victimize poor nations.
Mankind has always been helpless against nature and the recent Tsunami in Japan substantiates the fact. It is not humanly possible to pre-detect most of the calamities, confirm scientists.
Contemporary world has admitted that against nature and nature-driven calamities, human race and its technology is powerless. There is still nothing fully invented to caution, aid or alert the disaster victims beforehand.
Tsunami and climate-change
may be linked, say scientists
Though the findings are not yet full backed up, many seem to be linking JapanÂ’s earthquake with the protracted global warming.
Professor Bill McGuire, of University College London, recently stated that if mankind fails to stabilize the green house emissions, catastrophies like tsunami would occur every now and then, and that also just five years down the line.
McGuire warned that “things would be so bad that the odd tsunami or eruption won't make much difference."
Mongabay, one of the most popular environmental science and conservation websites, quotes on its site that “It’s
unlikely that scientists will be able to provide a definitive answer anytime soon.”, and says that the
findings are still hypothetical.
Environmentalists fear that lack of evidence on tsunami and climate-change linkage would further delay the executing measures to tackle surging global-warming.
This is a very shitty written article, but I highlighted the good bits for you. You listen when a report states, 'scientists say A, and this is why'
