I would have liked to post this article written just today concerning Israel's birthday but better late than never.

Captain “H” sits in a Cambridge cafe, one of a group of young men and women serving in Israel’s Defense Forces who are here to mark the sister-city relationship between Boston and Haifa. Dark-skinned and handsome, he looks a lot like other young Israelis.

There are two things about H, who is encouraged to not have his name published for security reasons, that are unusual. For starters he is an elite F-16 pilot, and in last summer’s war with Hamas directed Israeli Air Force fighters as they tried to stop rockets fired from Gaza at Israeli civilians while minimizing harm to the Palestinian civilians used by Hamas as shields.

Second, H isn’t Jewish. He is one of about 125,000 Israeli Druze, a faith that evolved from Islam. His father works for the Haifa Parks and Recreation Department, his mother is a school teacher, and they are part of a Druze community that is fiercely patriotic. His grandfather, the captain tells me, fought in Israel’s 1948 War of Independence, and H’s trip to Boston was timed to coincide with its 67th anniversary.

Nobody in the middle east considers the Druze to be muslims except the Israeli's.

Israel loves to use them for PR and fake propaganda. .....

It's amazing what a shit-ton of foreign aid can do, huh?

Israeli Druze Struggle For Equality Amid Rising Religious Tensions

ntertainment industry.

In 1956, the state of Israel passed a law mandating military service for the Druze, and ever since, they have served in the front lines of Israel’s wars. More than 83 percent of eligible Druze enlist in the Israeli army, higher than the 75 percent enlistment rate for Jews. Druze say they have a sense of duty to the state and they also want to maximize their job prospects and ensure themselves a better future.

The Druze are a small sect almost entirely based in Lebanon, Syria and Israel. They range from 1 million to 2 million people, with several hundred thousand in Syria, the largest Druze community. In Israel the population numbered around 130,000 as of 2011, according to Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics. Most are in northern Israel, including around 20,000 in four villages in the Golan Heights, which was annexed by Israel in 1981. More than 90 percent of the Golan Heights Druze have refused Israeli citizenship out of loyalty to Syria, where most have family ties.

Well what do you know? Hillary is Older Than Israel!

From the same article:

Interviewed by Channel 10 this week, Murad Saif, Zidan’s brother, said: “I feel that now I have to encourage (Druze) youths not to enlist in the army. … Either way, they’re going to treat us as Arabs, so why enlist and fight?”

The spiritual leader of the Druze in Israel, Sheikh Muwaffak Tarif, said the Druze are proud to serve as long as they are assured equal rights.

“We love and respect the Jews and serve alongside them,” Tariff said. “We have a blood alliance with the Jews, but we also need an alliance in life. Our young people are angry and frustrated. We are giving a great deal to the state and we’re not getting it back. We’re neglected, there aren’t jobs, our young men can’t get building permits for a house.”

Yes the Druze are treated very well.

Same with the Ahmadi's isn't it, as soon as an Islamic offshoot removes the violent parts from islam the rest of the islamonazis turn on them proving that islam thrives on being violent.

They are muslims, just that they done believe in your brand of violent islam so you had better get used to the fact.

So maybe we should give the west bank to the Druze as their homeland and send the Syrians back to Syria

So if they are not prepared to fight for their country then their country should not fight for them. I think that is fair don't you, take away all their rights that come with the nationality and see how they fare then

Was that your latest birthday cake which you wanted to share with your friends here? How old are you now? 11? 12? That's about the mental age of someone who posts junk like you do.
