Babbitt was never within fifteen feet of Byrd. There were other cops in the same general vicinity and they didn't fire. If it had been any other person but Pelosi's own police force member, they would be in jail along with Chauvin. Now run along partisan fool.

Babbitt was never within fifteen feet of Byrd.

15 feet is arguable. Probably more like 8-10 feed if you look at the size of the doors.

But That the issue in context was not just how close she was to Lt. Byrd, it was immediate access to the House Chamber.

There were other cops in the same general vicinity and they didn't fire.

Try again, look at the video and stills when the shooting happened, there were no other law enforcement officers in the "general vicinity" of that barrier in the Speakers Lobby. There were some officers at the OTHER END of the hall, but would not have been able to stop the mob from accessing the Chamber.

If it had been any other person but Pelosi's own police force member, they would be in jail along with Chauvin.

If it was any other riot at the capital, Lt. Byrd would have received the Congressional Medal of Freedom for his brave and controlled actions that day.

I have to apply the same logic to her as I do George Floyd.

Floyd died because he was doing some criminal shit. Once you do some criminal shit you take your own life in your hands. He died because he was breaking the law and escalated the situation.

Same thing with babbit. She was there with a crowd illegally going into a government building. The minute she did that she increased her chances of being hurt or killed. She entered and chose not to leave but continue on and was killed for it.

If she simply never went inside she would be alive right now.

If you don't want to get in trouble with the police then don't do things to get in trouble with the police.
