As A Conservative Hypocrisy Bothers Me On Both Sides

I have been trying to tell you, the two major parties in this country are not worth a sh#t ever since you came to the board. This is why, you should be Independent, as no matter which party you adopt, they will be willfully wrong and try to justify by exciting the devoted, every time. Hypocritical? Absolutely. The best you can hope for is to go Independent and make your decision on which candidate of the moment is worse for the country's future and any one specific point in time. You owe no allegiance to a party or a party leader, and none is deserved.

I have no idea, who is running for anything in your state or city. I am impressed with no nationally known Democrat, that I am aware of, at this time. But, gobs of nationally known Republicans, simply are not worth a shit, for the long term good of the country, either.

You know I just can't stop thinking about the fact that as much as I support Donald Trump as our president it completely bothers me that he wants Jimmy Kimmel to remain off the air. Yes it's true that Kimmel is insensitive and I don't agree with him whatsoever, but how can we as conservatives be upset for him mocking MAGA and trying to silence his right of freedom of speech while at exactly the same time be upset that Tucker Carlson was thrown off the air for using his free speech?



Democrats, I ask you this question but in reverse. How can you be outraged for Kimmel's removal but didn't have one ounce of outrage over Tucker Carlson's? What also bothers me an awful lot from my fellow Republicans is those who can condemn assassination and attempted assassination of Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump, but cannot condemn assassination and attempted assassination of Melissa Hortman and Paul Pelosi?



Granted I never heard of Hortman and I can't stand the Pelosis, but none of that's right either. There is a difference between taking out and trying to take people who are a physical dangerous threat to us and simply just taking out somebody because you disagree with them politically.



It's not right on either side and I know that this isn't all of you and this post might cause me to be in a lot of hot water with my fellow Republicans, but if you're a Republican and you're acting this way shame on you.



Shame on you because you're no better than the democrats who act like this. You know who you are as I'm not going to mention names and I don't know any specific ones. I'm just saying that it isn't a good look for our party when we're acting exactly the way the left does and that's why they mock us for it and in that case they have every right to.

Well Tucker was part of a 3/4 Billion dollar judgment. He wasn't fired for stating his opinion...he was fired for taking part in libel. Also he's parading his program on a news channel, not an entertainment network.

If you look at my writings on the topic, I think Kimmel's suspension was perfectly fine.

Comparing the two instances is ridiculous. It isn't a good look for your ideology but your ideology is 100% invested in false equivalencies , conspiracy theories, outright lies, and service to the blob.

The Left played a significant role in the rise of MAGA with its ridiculous weaponization of, and reliance on, PC & Identity Politics. The Right only became more and more resentful over the years, it responded with Trump, and the Dems paid a big price.

But now Trump and much of MAGA are doing much the same thing. But this time, it's a daily refrain directly from the Oval Office. Threats, mockery, intimidation. With this behavior, MAGA is only showing that it's no better than those it despises.

The two ends of the spectrum often share the same negative behaviors.
