You know I just can't stop thinking about the fact that as much as I support Donald Trump as our president it completely bothers me that he wants Jimmy Kimmel to remain off the air. Yes it's true that Kimmel is insensitive and I don't agree with him whatsoever, but how can we as conservatives be upset for him mocking MAGA and trying to silence his right of freedom of speech while at exactly the same time be upset that Tucker Carlson was thrown off the air for using his free speech?

Democrats, I ask you this question but in reverse. How can you be outraged for Kimmel's removal but didn't have one ounce of outrage over Tucker Carlson's? What also bothers me an awful lot from my fellow Republicans is those who can condemn assassination and attempted assassination of Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump, but cannot condemn assassination and attempted assassination of Melissa Hortman and Paul Pelosi?

Granted I never heard of Hortman and I can't stand the Pelosis, but none of that's right either. There is a difference between taking out and trying to take people who are a physical dangerous threat to us and simply just taking out somebody because you disagree with them politically.

It's not right on either side and I know that this isn't all of you and this post might cause me to be in a lot of hot water with my fellow Republicans, but if you're a Republican and you're acting this way shame on you.

Shame on you because you're no better than the democrats who act like this. You know who you are as I'm not going to mention names and I don't know any specific ones. I'm just saying that it isn't a good look for our party when we're acting exactly the way the left does and that's why they mock us for it and in that case they have every right to.

The "both sides" argument is nothing but a copout, in my opinion. A vehicle to escape the severity of one's side's negative behavior.

I'm not sure what you're saying as I just don't find it right when anybody tries to harm and murder a person for no reason or wants to take away just regular freedom of speech for no reason. There has to be a line still drawn in freedom of speech in my book, but Jimmy Kimmel didn't pass that line. He's an idiot but he was perfectly allowed to say what he wanted to say in this situation.

The line Kimmel crossed for me was when it was clear in his monologue that he not only believed the lies he was telling, he was trying to get others to take ahold of his lies as well.

That's not entertainment.

That's indoctrination.

It's also why I couldn't stand Carlin.

It was proven that carlson lied despite knowing the truth. The comment that got Kimmel fired was accurate.

Quote the lie that Kimmel told.

I agree, but it's also his freedom of speech. That was my point. We can't want it for our side and fight for it on our side and then try to take it away from the left as like it or not agree with it or not it's still his first amendment right.

Do you listen to trump?

Jimmy stomped on the line and went way over. It wasn't funny and it was way to soon. He says he feels bad for Erika and the kids but his actions didn't uphold what he claims. If you really want freedom of speech, write to the big broadcast networks that have FCC regulations and tell them to put conservatives on their shows, they are not equally presenting all sides which the FCC guidelines say.

I agree that Jimmy went over the line but again he still has his first amendment right just as much as the rest of us, but everything else you just said I agree with one hundred percent.

Tuck got fired as a token, after helping lose the largest public monitary judgement against a news media company in history, for it's actions and reporting. The government had nothing to do with it. Absence of Government pressure is the difference.

Agree to disagree.

We are engaging in free speech right now and neither of us are hosting a TV show. . . . which is a business, with employers, with share holders, with commercial sponsors.

His lies to me are akin to inciting a riot. We all saw the reaction that got him pulled.

He claimed in his return monologue through fake tears that he never intended to make fun of a murdered "young man."

I wish I had time to do a splice of the monologue that got him pulled with the one of him essentially denying what he was doing.

Okay but I still don't think that that changes my point though. As right or left we should be treated equally and get outraged over stuff going on in the world today equally. Otherwise we're just a bunch of hypocrites no matter what party we're from.

What did he say that was over your line? Be specific.

What exactly did he say because all I heard was he made fun of Trump and MAGA. I know there was a thread on here about this at one point and I was reading it but I forgot what all it said.

Expressing my freedom of speech.

This POST below is why we consider you a simpleton.

So, why exactly were the Hortmans MURDERED?

Can you answer ChristisKing , aka FJB.

I can't quote it Ver Batum but the inference was the Conservative (MAGA) hit a new low of trying to prove ever since the shooting happened that the shooter (Tyler Robinson) was not one of their own.

When the mother ****** had nothing but leftarded Trantifa written all over him and his ammo.

I'll see if I can find his opening on YouTube.

This might possibly be it. I haven't seen this yet.
