And nobody physically forced anyone to stop worshiping.

They came in and disrupted the service, they came in to the church chanting, and marched through the church, they stopped the religious service thus they denied a religious group their civil rights. They were denied their 1st Amendment rights.

Whether they are charged or convicted, I have no idea, but I would not be surprised.

Hate is the symptom, not the cause.

The cause is what we'd call "transgression of boundaries".

Boundaries are like norms (social or otherwise), but they also have a more immediate meaning which is you just look at something and you're revolted. Your mind says there's something wrong with what you're seeing.

Disrupting church services for example, is a transgression of boundaries. For the church goers, as well as a lot of people not even attending who heard about it on the news.

Deliberate transgressions of boundaries are uncivil, they're the opposite of polite.

The problem is the boundaries are in different places, people don't agree where they are anymore. There are other problems too, to be sure (like the kind of social justice that entails revenge for things that happened centuries ago), but actions are based on one's own boundaries whereas they're perceived relative to the beholder's.

So like, most of these leftards aren't Christians, they don't care about churches. They just want the ICE guy. And they're gonna go get him, the mob vigilante way, because they have no personal boundary that says it"s a bad thing. Kids can cry, mommies can fear for their families, the protesters don't care. But now maybe it'll dawn on them that the government cares, and religion is protected.
