Arrests Happening for Church Rioters

God help me I laughed out loud at this 😂

That is OK Sue, I'm glad you see the humor in this. I was only half-kidding though. I'm 6'6, about 335 pounds (they wanted me for linebacker in college) mostly muscle, and given the circumstances, I'm not above ripping a 12' church pew out from its bolts in the floor and beating a crowd of angry anti-ICERS with it to quell their enthusiasm for my parish.

If I belonged to a church in MN, I would be talking to the minister or priest right now about modifying the aisles so that each shelf in the pews holding little prayer books and stuff in front of you as you pray, or maybe the kneeling rests, could be released and used as a weapon by the parishioners to beat off attacks by crazed ICE-Karens driving maroon SUVs.

I'd be in the church day and night helping to design and effect the modifications myself.

The only way to win a war is to make your enemy pay so high a price for every wrong move that they dare never raise a weapon against you ever again.

Dude....They stormed INTO the Church during services, and started yelling in the face of people....
So?

They didn't blockade the church or intimidate anyone with physical force.

Which is the letter of the law.

Has nothing to do with free speech--what are you saying? A church is PRIVATE property. If someone breaks into your home and starts screaming at you, "free speech" is not the defense here. How about: breaking and entering, trespassing, harassment, etc

GEEZ
churches, even those that use the pulpit to spread political hate.
instead of JESUS teachings.
Should Never be used by the other political party, to spread Hate.
Bad move, both sides of the isle.

We are All paying the price of the effect the HATE IS CAUSING america.

It's open to the public, so it's not like they're immediately trespassing just by walking in. But again, trespassing isn't a federal charge.
They are violating people’s civil rights.
They could be federally charges under 18 U.S.C. § 247, damage to religious property / obstruction of religious exercise.

They intentionally disrupted a religious service, that alone is a violation of peoples civil rights. It is very much a federal issue.

Fun fact, if protestors were to walk into an abortion clinic and do exactly the same thing, this DoJ has a policy that says they wouldn't prosecute them.

**** that.
Abortion is not a civil right but it is also something I would never do.

No dummy...I think your attitude about it is "Sad".... And I think what these douchebags did was "Illegal"

Get it now?
Yes, but you cant seem to say why. But that's what the tingle in your micropeen tells you. So it must be true!

WTF are you talking about? I was one of the first ones in here to cite the Face Act. But, beyond the law, which they broke, what they did was deplorable....In fact I hope you people keep it up....Midterms will be another one that got away....

They forced a panic removal of scared Children out the back door and ended the Service prematurely …
No they didn't force anything. You made that up. Words have meaning.

Anyone could have stayed. Any employee of the church could have asked them to leave.

Then show us the physical blockade or intimidation by physical force.

You seemed to go into a tailspin, last time you were asked.

Good luck. Should be an interesting case considering what can and can't be considered first amendment rights.

Trump's DoJ isn't exactly brimming with competent prosecutors.
It's pretty clear, the first doesn't guarantee anyone a right to protest inside a church, and the FACE act explicitly bans what these people did, so they should be enjoying the view of the hallway through the bars soon.
