An army helicopter disregarded air traffic controller instructions to “go around,” causing two commercial airlines to abort their landings. It seems the pilot of the helicopter preferred the “scenic route.”

There is no way to know if this is, once again, a poorly qualified pilot due to DEI or something else, but it’s a valid concern given how the Army went “woke” and prioritized diversity over the best qualified. Once DEI fades into memory, this will no longer be a question.

I agree. No reason military helicopters need to fly that close to airports.
They should not be at the DC airport at all. It’s congested, with a short landing strip, and an awkward approach.

Why does a supposed woman (the OP) hate women so much?

Questioning DEI does not equate to hating women or any other group. DEI necessarily puts a premium on gender, religion, skin color, or race over top qualifications and skills sets. That’s not hate. That’s pointing out empirical data staring at you.

By my estimate, that helicopter came within 8 or 9 seconds of colliding with at least one of those planes, had the jets not rerouted their flight paths.

You’re assuming that someone involved fucked up because of their gender (or knowing you , their skin color ).

So which do you hate more.. fellow women or people of color?

You would have hated the draft.

There are too many aircraft vying for how little airspace is available at Reagan, but these helicopters flying across and under the glide slope of incoming commercial aircraft was already a dumb idea, made worse by a parade of newly minted warrant officers with not enough flight hours deciding to try their luck at staying below the 300 foot ceiling.

How about restrict ALL non-essential flights (that means no more training flights) and also restricting all that airspace to only Chief Warrant Officer 4's, meaning only the most experienced pilots can fly in this airspace. Certain east coast airports are best avoided, including JFK, Newark, and especially Reagan.

No, it is not an assumption. Anytime an organization is known to be big on DEI, this is going to come up. You keep saying it’s Hate. As per my earlier statement, the way DEI is structured, it necessarily puts a premium on personal characteristics over qualifications and skills sets.

As for myself, I love all people.
