Armed demos, tension rising in Iraqi provinces

In Iraq’s al-Anbar and Salahaddin provinces dozens of armed men took to the streets and challenged the martial law imposed by Maliki. The funeral ceremony of Iraqi MP Ahmed al-Alawani’s brother turned into a large demonstration, with protesters carrying with weapons. Chief sheikh of the Albu Alawan tribe called on Maliki's government to release Iraqi MP Ahmed al-Alawani, or else he will not be able silence the people’s rage.
Furthermore, protesting Maliki forces’ raid into al-Anbar Province, Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi called on all Iraqiya-linked ministers to resign and pullout of Maliki's government.
