The "Constitution loving" party is at it again.
Arkansas passes a bill that states local governments cannot pass LGBT anti-discrimination laws. It has passed both houses and will become law without the governor's signature.
The funny thing about that is in 1996, the Supreme Court took a case named Romer v. Evans in which Colorado passed a constitutional amendment where local government could not pass LGBT anti-discrimination laws. Guess what the court did? They ruled it unconstitutional!
What's even funnier is the State of Arkansas will have to pay the legal fees of the other side when they inevitably lose. So much for crusading against government waste I guess.
