What he did was come up to voters in Harlem, and ask them what they thought of voting for Obama, only, he would switch positions of his GOP rival and ask them, for example, if they supported Obama because of his prolife stance. So there black voters would all embrace the GOP positions, thinking Obama actually supported them

In effect, they were just voting for the color of Obama's skin and also were sold on the notion that the GOP were all racist Nazis, but really clueless about literally anything else.
