You're too flaky to realize that I'm not a "librul". You don't read others' posts. You read a couple of sentences and miss the context of the post.
You're one of those people who will have to "hit bottom" before you will stop looking at things in a black and white manner. You give yourself way too much credit. Yes...the whole time I was reading your post, I was thinking to myself: "This small-minded, shallow individual has ALL the answers, and I'll bet that he invented conservatism."
You REALLY need to get out more. You need to move outside your comfort zone, and talk to people with different backgrounds than your own.
If you really understood people, you would realize that I am quite moderate. I think that extreme left and extreme right equals mental illness. You're guilty of it. You watch probably FNC and all its derivatives. It's just like the other entertainment channels. CNN, MSNBC, and FNC are all doing their level best to keep us fighting amongst ourselves, in order to appease the politicians and businesses who own them.
And maybe you majored in economics or business for a semester. Maybe you're a Rhodes Scholar. Maybe most of us don't give a ****. All we know is that if it smells like shit, and looks like shit....it's probably shit. The business table is tilted, and it's not in most Americans' favor. Now I'm not referring to the ridiculous thing I've recently heard from OWS, called "income inequality". That reeks of Socialism. There would be NO reason for a cashier to think that he/she is entitled to the same salary as a neurosurgeon.
And I'm getting sick of hearing people who slept through high school history and civics class pretending like they're experts in the Constitution and the founding fathers. Some of you are now interested? Good. But experts you are not, because right/fight media has hosts who are woefully underqualified to make the assertions that they make. Beck's single college course hardly qualifies him as an expert in Constitutional Law. It takes years of study to fundamentally understand the Constitution. It's the same with the Holy Bible. Martin Luther had issues with the Catholic Church, so he broke away. But that led to hundreds and hundreds of people reading and interpreting the Bible, without fully understanding the types of literature that it contains, the cultural standards at the time that it was written, etc... It takes a very learned person to fully understand the Bible. So therefore we have untold numbers of different Christian denominations.
You use the word Capitalism in rather unorthodox ways-i.e.-"Wonderful Republican Capitalism". Is that a new definition being taught in Economics? I was never taught the term, Republican-Capitalism. It leads me to believe that it is a word that you have just recently heard, for the first time.
If I'm wrong, I'll correct myself. So if you learned the definition of it two months ago...forgive me for ever doubting you. So if it is called Republican Capitalism, the reverse is Democratic-Communism? That's hysterical.
Are you young, or young at heart? You sound like I did in my early to mid 20's. "Wonderful Republican competition". Is the term also fantastic? I would believe the latter.
