Arizona ethics committee to investigate Wendy Rogers over comments about mass shooting in Buffalo

Wendy Rogers, who is in her first term, has built a national profile among the far right with inflammatory rhetoric and vociferous support for former President Donald Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

"The Arizona Senate’s ethics committee voted Wednesday to formally investigate a Republican lawmaker’s online comments that appeared to blame the federal government for the recent massacre at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. Authorities said the gunman had posted a racist screed before the May 14 attack. As news of the mass shooting in Buffalo was just becoming known, Rogers tweeted: “Fed boy summer has started in Buffalo.” Many in both parties took that tweet to mean that Rogers was blaming the attack on the federal government, especially in light of Rogers’ history of embracing conspiracy theories.


Rogers, who was just censured by the Senate on March 1; after she spoke at a white nationalist gathering and said that her political opponents should face a “newly built set of gallows.” The Senate, which is controlled by Republicans, could decide on discipline ranging from a formal censure to expulsion once the report is complete. It could also drop the matter with no action."

Everyone knows that the FBI staged that shooting in Buffalo, Rogers is just brave enough to use her platform as a high profile elected official and Senatorial candidate to say it... but why are her fellow Republicans not supporting her 100%? Instead of investigating her, they should be investigating the FBI and exposing them for another false flag attack....it is bad enough that these RINOs already stabbed her in the back when they censured over something as simple as appearing at events for white nationalists and calling for the executing of political opponents...how is that even something to be censured for??

White nationalism is not the same as white supremacy, Trump is a white nationalist, but that doesn't mean he is a white supremacist because he has black friends..and calling for the public executions of people isn't bad --- since she was clearly referring to Dems who committed treason by stealing the 2020 election...and it clearly states in our founding documents; that the punishment for treason is death....if we already have the evidence, what is wrong with calling for their executions ahead of the trial?? If there was a trial, but there isn't one because there is so much evidence of fraud, there would be too many trials...
