Are democrats intentionally trying to lose the 2016 election?

yo redfish... any thoughts on this?
everybody is a great prognosticator three years out. I guess the overriding fact that the author of the OP fails to consider is that the span of memory for the electorate is frighteningly short. Obama will not be on the ballot and, in all probability, Hillary will. The GOP didn't HAVE to lose in '08, despite the abysmal failure of Dubya... all they needed to do was to put up a candidate who gave the impression that he had enough life left in him to live through a term. The choice of Caribou Barbie as the Mummy's running mate sealed the deal. And again... worst president in history, you say... economy in shambles, you say... stimulus a total failure, you say... and what does the GOP do? They run Mr. Magic Underwear, and borrowed Batman's sidekick for a running mate. Clearly, the fractured GOP has not figured out how to get their various factions on the same page, and pick a candidate that can capture the middle of the bell curve of the political spectrum of voters. Their process in both '08 AND '12 was a pathetic joke to watch. All Obama needed to be able to do was to be able to fog a mirror and he appeared more electable than the GOP's primary winners. Hillary will have NONE of his economic failings dragging her down, she'll have nearly every voter without a penis giving her serious consideration simply because of her gender, not to mention her powerful resume. Who will the GOP let survive the bloodbath of its primary process to emerge to stand against her? And will that person be as much of a joke as the previous two candidates have been?

I am loath to prognosticate about what will happen in 2016, but I would put ten bens on Hillary today without batting an eye.

Yeah, I have thoughts on this. Hillary does not have a chance in 2016. Why?
1. too old
2. irritating personality
3. Bubba
4. Benghazi
5. Let Obama beat her when she did have a chance
6. Sold out to obama in exchange for the SecState job
7, too ugly

All the GOPwould need is a few ads with clips of her screaming like a banshee and doing her fake black accent.

I don't think the DNC is dumb enough to run her, but I hope they do.

Hillary would trounce any of the current Republicans.

The right wing echo chamber has been telling itself that they can defeat Hillary since 2004. All of the "issues" they think they have against Hillary are catastrophic to the rightwing media and insignificant anywhere else

And yet in current polling she beats ALL the likely GOP candidates...including Rubio among Latino voters.

an inexperienced, incompetent community organizer beat her easily. :eusa_whistle:

pay me to do a poll, tell me what result you want, and I will pick a sample that will get that result for you.

90% of the "polls" in this country are politically manipulated. they are meaningless. remember the polls that showed Romney winning????????????? Hmmmmmm?

how big a slice of crow are you prepared to eat when Hillary is sworn in as our next president? would you banish yourself from usmb in shame?

I will bet you that she will not be the dem nominee in 16. you and wytchey may be in love with her, but most of the country is not.

remember, many voters are young. they will not be excited about a tired wrinkled fat 70 year old woman whose husband spent their entire marriage cheating on her.

I few clips of her screaming and doing her fake black accent will destroy her in the dem primaries.

I don't know who the dems will come up with, but it won't be hillybilly.

got a link that would prove that statement, btw?

how about using a little common sense. there are 330,000,000 people in the USA. most national polls use 800 to 1200 people in their samples.

1000 out of 330,000,000 is what % ? can you do the math?

I know they claim to use "representative" samples. but come on, its a game.

The most charismatic candidate since JFK beat her by reminding Democrats of her Iraq war vote.

Either Hillary or Obama would have trounced McCain/Palin in 2008

Republicans will do no better in 2016

Total ignorance of statistical sampling techniques

More reasons why Republicans lost in 2012

If the dems continue to support obama's failed marxism and run the failed secstate Hillary, then the GOP could very easily take over the senate, keep the house, and take the whitehouse.

The american people are fed up with being lied to and having the country run by incompetent, arrogant, narcsssistic big-government thugs.

Enjoy it while you can dems, obama has sealed your coffins.

You are such an ignorant dumbass. Marxist? Give me a break.

redfish's ignorance of polling techniques is absolutely staggering.

and you said you would bet that Hillary is not the nominee in '16. How much would you be willing to wager?

your ignorance is only exceeded by your arrogance. go to your local library, pick up a stat 101 textbook. Look up "representative sample".

It will tell you that for a sample be significant it must be a least 5% of the population.
the pollsters have tried to come up with some mumbo jumbo by which they claim that they pull samples that include all elements of the population and thereby overcome the math.

Its bullshit, the math does not change, they cannot change it. Polls are being used to influence political opinion, not to report on it.

if you want to buy into that fraud, go right ahead.

sorry, but its your ignorance that is staggering, but not surprising since you support the party of slavery and oppression.

how about $5000? send me your check and I will hold it until the election, then if you win I wll send it back to you with one from me for $5000.

Marx "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs"

Obama "I want to redistribute the wealth" "you didn't build that"

your hero obama is a marxist. or more precisely, a marxist collectivist.

Disbelief in polls brought us the Karl Rove debacle on election night.

what? did you believe the polls that said Romney was going to win? you are contradicting yourself wytchey.

Obama led in state polling throughout the run-up to the election. Since we have the electoral college, those are the ones you should have been paying attention to instead of the shit Gallup and Rasmussen national polls.

The polls clearly showed an Obama win going into the election. Karl Rove, Fox and the RW talking heads were so sure the pollsters had it wrong, we got the Karl Rove circus at Fox.

Such a short memory you have.
