The pick was credited to Arch in the first half should have been a defensive holding call, not on Arch.

Arch was pretty accurate most of the game. If he stays within his range, he's pretty good, much better than earlier in the season.

The desperate heave that was picked in Q4, that was Arch "not staying in his range." His range is about 30 yards downfield. Beyond that is "Hail Mary" and that's not going to cut it.

Better, but never to be confused with a "strong armed QB."

Good luck next year, Texas...

LOL!!

never heard but manning stands out, asked gemini and he likely has a bright future, still young and can improve, I mean when your relative are mannings you get some really good advice

Doesn't have the "laser rocket arm" of Eli or Peyton. Never will. Isn't the same caliber prospect.

But Arch is definitely playing better, showing better decision making and accuracy. Threw some good passes last night against Dawgs.

likely needs to bulk up and work on arm strength, still young

TX QB Manning appeared to be a disaster vs. GA in yesterdays SAT game.

Very rare to see any QB worse than him. Allowed to stay in the game. Why? Don't they have a bench?

Texas scheme does him no favors. He looks small and lost trying to be a pocket passer? Only tricks and gimmicks will work for this Manning guy. Texas will never beat top 5 teams on the road like this. Playoffs? Lol!

Why are TX even being given the time of day? Got lucky and beat Vanderbilt (who started slow).

Prop him up if you like. I saw nothing worthwhile ten games under him now. Still looking bad.

NO NO NO NO NO....

You are equating big steroided arms with "arm strength" related to throwing a football. It doesn't work that way, not at all. Some guys with really thin arms have the strongest arms, like Doug Williams and Ryan Mallett. Arch's football arm isn't going to get stronger. The kid is bright, he works hard, and he is moving up the learning curve, but his game has limits, and the pick he threw with 10 or so minutes left last night was simply a pass he shouldn't throw because he can't throw with accuracy beyond 25-30 yards. Lifting weights won't fix that.

He's faster than either Peyton or Eli. He will be interesting to watch next year, he should pack on some pounds.

Running QBs don't last. They get hurt.

Arch's first pick was bullshit. Arch was throwing to a WR who was held by the UGA defender, and that hold, which was brazen but not called, resulted in the ball getting there before the WR, and hence 5 yards behind that is an easy pick for the S. BAD NO CALL. More evidence of urgently needed improvement in football penalty calls.

Arch played a decent football game between the hedges for 3Q before the wheels fell off... much better than he looked against Ohio State. He can run and he can project into a West Coast type of NFL QB. But not a "Peyton Manning" type...

Still looking bad.

Still looking like a "Saturday pick" Rd 4-7 in the NFL Draft, not First Round... He'll be back in Austin for another year.
