Apparently the Government knows how to survive nuclear war, just not how to avoid one.

How many nuclear wars have humans had since WWII?
It's not so much the actual wars that affect us, one would be the end. It's the constant projected FEAR of war, like wait until your father gets home type of bullying that makes us subservient to rule, and facilitates the brutal stance of authority. That's why we tolerate corruption and spying and secrecy. Perhaps if you had grown up in the '50's hiding under your desk and listening to propaganda news all your life you would see things differently. Nuclear arms is a ticket to financial aid and a bargaining chip like Iran, China, and now Ukraine is playing to get more money. If you don't support us we will build a bomb. The game is played more loosely now, and there is always the very real possibility of a miscalculation or someone using a "limited" strike ( whatever that means) and some in outr DoD is already discussing this.

none....I am glad you could concur. I was born in 1961 and we still had to do the drill, same when I was in the army....
