This is a travesty, wrapped in a disgrace, dipped in perversion, served on a platter of pure bullshit.

America's 2nd man to walk on the moon deserves to live out his last days in something more than utter squalor.

Here's to hoping someone of action sees this, and gets this hero of the space race to an appropriate facility.

In a photo exclusively provided to Radar, the ailing space hero could be seen staring blankly inside of his dingy Los Angeles apartment, as he received oxygen support through his nose.

Aldrin, wearing a NASA T-shirt, appeared in a daze while bedridden and leaning over on a small pillow.

There was a table beside the elderly star, allowing him to reach over for a beverage or snack because he's said to be unable to move.

"He's literally just laying in a room by himself," Barber, whose known Aldrin since 2004 and visioned the Apollo 11 monument in 2018, told Radar.

Take advice from your own signature quote.

Write Trump and tell him tax payers are willing to cough up a couple million bucks to keep this man in comfort until he decides to go.
Unlike other presidents, theres SO many ways to contact Trump.

Hell, tell Tump this man needs a freeking parade of his own!!!!

I can’t help thinkg there must be more to it.

He was married four or five times. Presumably, alimony must have an impact on his general’s pension.

But if Trump wanted to have a parade for him, I’d be for it, too!

He must have 24 hr. nursing care. He looks clean and not starving. Would he be better off in a hospital warehouse room with 5 other patients?

Buzz Aldrin's Friend Begs President Donald Trump to Save 'Abandoned' Astronaut as Moon Landing Legend's 'Dying' Alone

A close friend of Buzz Aldrin has made a desperate plea to Donald Trump, begging the president to intervene and help the ailing Apollo 11 astronaut — who is reportedly living in dire conditions at age 95.

As RadarOnline.comexclusively reported, Aldrin — the second man to walk on the moon — is allegedly living in a dingy Los Angeles apartment, reliant on oxygen and nursing care, while suffering from severe emotional and physical decline following the death of his wife, Anca Faur, in October 2024.

Maralago is not a nursing home. That is what he needs. Wellness check authorities and he can be put in one for his own good.

Nothing gonna bring back his wife. Nor his kids it seems.

Married 4 or 5 times? What is he a lunatic? Assisted living on his SS or pension. I was unaware any ex could take your pension or SS?

None of these famous forkers gave a crap about 100s of millions regular folks parents worked to death to pay for the government. Dying alone in a rented APT no A/C in Joplin, MO or CHI high rise.

It's a complicated issue. I have no answers.//

Well thats great.

What was Trumps response?

I haven't seen a study, but I'd guess most of us will die alone in some way. Maybe surrounded by medical staff at best. The sort of storybook death of being surrounded by loved ones is rare. My mother was fortunate enough to have my brother with her at the moment that she passed. But more importantly, she had been visited frequently by her children and grandchildren in the months prior.

My father, on the other hand, died suddenly and I found him in his apartment the next day after convincing the manager to let me in. As a nine year old, more than a half century previously, he had walked into his living room and found his own father dead. I'm hoping to break that cycle, but it isn't something we have control over.

Moral to the story, spend your time with people when it means something to them. Aldrin did what tens of thousands of men had dreamed of doing and his name will live on. He should not be a figure of pity.

Modern medicine makes a lingering end more likely, for better or worse. But the best end is much worse than the beginning and middle, when there is hope.

Someone needs to take him to revisit the place he used to work

There are millions more of those stories coming as boomers die off, especially boomers without kids.

I would gladly accept dying alone and very old as better than dying young.

He is not housed in some one bedroom apartment by himself. Nice 2 bedroom with a 24 hr nursing care.
