Centrist Democrats Need Scapegoats For Lost Congressional Seats They Wanted To Lose‭

The GOP is the Party of Bad Ideas,‭ ‬while the Democrats spent the last forty year as the Party of No Ideas.‭ ‬AOC and the other members of‭ “‬The Squad‭” ‬hope to change this.

The neoliberal economic policies Reagan appropriated to create his‭ “‬Reaganomics‭” ‬were a big hit with Big‭ ‬Business,‭ ‬the ruling Billionaire class,‭ ‬and with the suckers in the working class.

At the same time,‭ ‬congressional Democrats discovered that rubber-stamping Republican‭ ‬economic and‭ ‬deregulation legislation made them really popular with major political donors.‭ ‬They made this concession to white,‭ ‬working class voters to stem the flow of Democratic‭ ‬centrists switching to the Republican Party after the‭ ‬implementation of Nixon’s Southern Strategy.‭ ‬After all,‭ ‬why beat‭ ‘‬em,‭ ‬when you can join‭ ‘‬em.

All it takes to convince rank-and-file Republican voters a GOP politician’s statement is an absolute fact,‭ ‬is to have that statement verified by FOX Noise.‭ ‬If the FOX Noise audience hears one of their congressional heroes say,‭ “‬The Sun will rise in the West and set in the East,‭” ‬and it’s‭ “‬verified‭” ‬by FOX,‭ ‬the right-wingers,‭ ‬and most centrists will believe the Earth suddenly reversed rotation.‭ ‬No scientist in the world can change their minds.

The conservative and centrist congressional Democrats much prefer being the minority party.‭ ‬They need only loaf along and get paid for doing nothing for their constituents.‭ ‬Why,‭ ‬because,‭ ‬as the minority party,‭ ‬they are too few to stop the Republican legislation harmful to the folks back home.‭

However,‭ ‬since very few of those folks back home check the voting records of their‭ “‬powerless‭” ‬Senators and House members,‭ ‬it permits these‭ “‬powerless politicians‭” ‬to vote with the congressional Republicans.‭ ‬Those very wealthy political contributors spoken of earlier,‭ ‬they really appreciate the congressional Democrats‭’ ‬bi-partisan cooperation.‭ ‬So,‭ ‬when election time rolls around,‭ ‬those nice rich people reward the powerless Democratic politicians,‭ ‬handing out millions-of-dollars to these‭ “‬powerless Democrats‭” ‬to pay for their campaign TV ads to prove to their constituencies,‭ “‬what fine work they are doing for the folks back home,‭” ‬when these‭ “‬powerless‭”‬,‭ ‬but hard-working,‭ ‬Democrats are in Washington D.C.‭

Pelosi wants the Democrats to hold the majority of the House,‭ ‬just not a big majority.‭ ‬She wants to avoid the inconvenient ability to accomplish anything positive for the‭ “‬insignificant‭” ‬Americans.‭ ‬Blaming the few true progressives in congress for the lost House seats‭ ‬is laughable.‭ ‬The RWNJs were told all the Democrats are communists,‭ ‬and it worked great to keep the congressional Democrats right where they want to be.

The impeached president trump has always seen himself as the master‭ ‬flim-flam man.‭ ‬He11,‭ ‬he’s a rank amateur compared to Nancy Pelosi,‭ ‬Moscow Mitch,‭ ‬and the other old pros walking the halls of congress.‭ ‬They’ve made decades-long careers scamming the United States‭’ ‬body politic.‭

Of the roughly‭ ‬146‭ ‬million voters‭ ‬participating‭ ‬in last week’s elections‭’ ‬the impeached president trump had less than half of them fooled.‭ ‬While the‭ “‬old pros‭” ‬walking the halls of congress,‭ ‬as mentioned above,‭ ‬they played these millions of people like a cheap violin.‭ ‬Only a tiny percentage of the American public know the political system in the United States is all theater,‭ ‬a well-rehearsed,‭ ‬six-decades-old con game designed to simulate a Democratic processed that ceased to exist long ago.

The‭ ‬impeached president trump’s knowledge as a grifter is only half complete.‭ ‬He enjoyed knowing that over half the American people knew he was always lying,‭ ‬it made knowing he was scamming so many millions of voters that much more‭ ‬pleasurable to him.‭ ‬Feeding his own ego showed everyone he was lying,‭ ‬except those who didn’t want to believe the truth staring them in the face.

Nancy Pelosi,‭ ‬Moscow Mitch,‭ ‬and those other old pros walking the halls of congress,‭ ‬they’ve understood the flim-flam must never be revealed to the victims.‭ ‬It’s the first,‭ ‬and most important rule of‭ ‬professional‭ ‬grifters.‭ ‬It’s the rule the impeached president trump broke far too often,‭ ‬and it cost him a second term in the White House.

Newcomers,‭ ‬like AOC and other members of The Squad can either join in the scam,‭ ‬try to end it,‭ ‬or resign in frustration.‭ ‬The‭ “‬old pros‭” ‬are getting really old,‭ ‬and will,‭ ‬hopefully,‭ ‬die off before it’s too late for the young people of today to save the planet and themselves from the wreckage left to them by the Baby Boomers.

I'm not sure the big tent WANTS a compromise. It's not progressive now to think every American should get preventative care and a way to be sick and treated without bankruptcy. And we have to let everyone come to America who wants to.

I'm not sure the dems are interested in econ opportunity so much as a defined benefits plan. AOC says she's never mentioned socialism in her campaigns but I think that's what she's talking about, and Omar for sure …. but that may be more about expanded refugee status rather than letting people in who want to make their kids go to college and become "suits."
