Let’s say he DOES provide city-owned grocery stores, selling at cost, and thus driving all private ownership out of business? Then what? The stores will look like what you find in Russia - stale bread, if you’re lucky, and that’s about it.

But that's the problem. The Private Grocery Store chains won't set up in the inner city. Not enough profit. The small grocery stores owned by immigrants do, but they are the ones that often have spoiled milk and stale bread at exorbitant prices.
