As of early 2026, E. Jean Carroll has not yet collected the over $88 million in total damages awarded to her two lawsuits against Donald Trump, as he is continuing to appeal both verdicts. While an appeals court upheld the $83.3 million judgment in September 2025, Trump has filed petitions for Supreme Court review, stalling collection.

The Supreme Court scheduled President Trump’s petition that seeks review of the jury verdict finding him liable for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll for the justices’ Feb. 20 meeting, according to a new docket update.
