The Democrats did the same thing in 1968. Nixon won.

Just a thought.

True enough, but that was 52 years ago. Nixon and Wallace combine for 347 EC votes and 57 percent of the popular vote.

Rather than rely on the American Stinker, I went to the source: the New York Times article. The American Thinker, an extremist right-wing blog, makes it sound as though it is the violent protests that Obama was referring to. It was not. Here is the quote from the NYTs.

"Mr. Obama’s first reaction to the protests, people close to him said, was anxiety — that the spasms of rioting would spin out of control and play into Mr. Trump’s narrative of a lawless left.

But peaceful demonstrators took control, igniting a national movement that challenged Mr. Trump without making him its focal point.

Soon after, in the middle of a strategy call with political aides and policy experts at his foundation, an excited Mr. Obama pronounced that “a tailor-made moment” had arrived.

He was referring to those peaceably assembling and not as the lying right-wing media machine would have it the violent protestors. The article made clear he did and does not support their actions.

The bullshit lies that the OP sites makes it sound as though it is the violent protests that Obama was referring to. It was not. Here is the quote from the NYTs.

BS, they are trying to ride the coattails of the rioting, they will keep a certain distance but the demrats firmly believe the rioters are doing their dirty work for them. So take a long walk off a short bridge, head first.

....into shallow water.

Don't say...

The whole story is taylor made, not just the riots. More black people get killed by lightning strikes, bath tubs, or falling from the bed than shot by cops while unarmed.
