They are swimming in the Seine!
They almost canceled the swimming portion of the triathlon because E Coli levels were too high in the river, and after postponing the event for days, they went ahead and did it today. After spending hundreds of millions of dollars to clean it up all the rain washed away most of that.

Never seen that before . Hilarious .
Apparently in his previous attempt he tried to vault over the pommel horse , got one foot stuck in one of the bars and was given 10.0 for entertainment but zero for executuion .

So I finally watched the men's road race. It was 170 miles, almost the same driving distance as Seattle to Portland. Took over 5 hours.
Remco Evenepoel of Belgium, who won the Gold in the Time Trials as the fastest rider, also blew away the field in the Road Race, making himself a double gold medalist in cycling. Never done in the same Olympics before. He is only 21 years old and finished 3rd place in his first Tour de France only a week prior to the Olympics starting. Had he not have built a minute and a half lead he would have lost, he had a flat tire with 3.8 km left! A car pulled up with a bike replacement and he smoked the finish on a new bike. Amazing turnout for this race, streets packed with onlookers for 170 miles, maybe more so than the TDF even. No mountains on this course though. French riders took home silver and bronze.
Also a great finish in this race and the TDF for the American Matteo Jorgenson of California. He is either 24 or 25.

Did they check out that replacement bike before they switched the cheat model back to a regular one after the finish ?

There have been incidents of this happening, but low level races where such chicanery is possible. One rider went down and the back wheel kept spinning.

France didn't play as well against the U.S. as Serbia did in the previous game, Serbia led the entire game until there were only about 4:00 left, when the U.S. finally did what everyone thought they would.
