Anyone have a good recommendation for where to register a website domain?

Looking for a register with no hidden costs or fake maintenance fees, ease (or even freedom) of mobility to host it anywhere etc.

Any tips or recommendations is appreciated.

Thanks Fury. Appears they have a great reputation, but they've been purchased by Liquid Web recently which requires some research on my end.

The thing you want is security for your membership. They use a two stage server. One for daily content and the other for members emails. That allows the main site to be attacked without endangering personal records of members.
