Anybody like Rolling stones or EAGLES

DID ACDC change their singer in the early 80s and why
The lead singer Bon Scott died in 1980.

Many thought that would be the end of the band.

Then they came back with Back in Black with Brian Johnson performing vocals.

I like Cry Of Love. :dunno:

IMO One of the most underrated bands ever.

They say more with a silent pause than most ever do at all.

Of what you mentioned, when I was a kid in the early-mid 80's and I started buying my own music, it was generally:

1. Pink Floyd
2.Led Zeppelin
3. The Allman Brothers
4. The Eagles
5.The Beatles
6. Jethro Tull

15. The Stones

Something like that.

Yeah I like the Stones, but they are not really in the same ballpark as the others and quite a few more too. I've only only owned ONE Stones album in my life and that was "Made In The Shade" on 8-track.

I'm almost 52 and I can honestly say I've never even downloaded a single Stones mp3 in my life. I do however have untold dozens of tracks from those others.

And this list was only valid until I discovered Eric Clapton and Cream. That changed everything.

I was listening to several songs and really enjoyed it last night

would you say the Stones are better than Pink F or Led ZEp. Cleary they are not as good as BEATTLES

Give me shelter, Start it up, Brown Sugar, PAint in black were awesome, CANT YOU HEAR me knocking

Eagles are a good soft rock band and not my kind of music

The song , in the city is awesome

Thanks . I will just sneak in here and PEEK at the replies
Get Over It by the Eagles...

I like the Eagles "Hotel California" but not much else. There is some good stuff by the Stones too. Why is it necessary to be a fan (short for fanatic) of a certain group?

I’m finding the blues more to my liking anymore.
