I don't count that as antisemitic. It just looks like a joke which happens to involve a Jew.

Where do Polish jokes fit in then? If you ask how many pollacks does it take to screw in a light bulb, does that make you an anti-Pollite?

The cartoon I see is definitely anti-Semitic. It is using a caricature of a Jew (to further some negative stereotypes) and posits that behind any conspiracy is a Jew. The claim of Jewish control from behind the scene, manipulating everyone is not new and is offensive to Jews.

99% of what you say was all inferred by you reading into the cartoon stuff you assume was intended by the author.

Actually yes. But as the author invokes specific imagery and stereotypes it is clear that he is trying to call forth specific ideas. If I see a flag and I infer that the reference is to the country symbolized by the flag, I won't be off base.

more AIPAC manipulation Rose
As I don't belong to aipac I have no idea what you are talking about
Do stereotypes exist for a reason ? asking for a friend....

~S~
Yes! Stereotypes begin when someone tries to capture the essence of a group so that he can refer to any member of the group by the idea and that idea is then supposedly predictive and exhaustivelt descriptive. Stereotypes can be useful in very limited scenarios but in most cases the use of stereotypes bespeaks an intellectual laziness and a closed mind.
