Okay, let's get real here. Apartheid was originally coined to describe the regime in South Africa, which separated the black indigenous population from the White Settler Population, which controlled most of the wealth and political power.

The only difference between South Africa and Israel is that rather than the Apartheid being based on race, it's based on religion. Jewish settlers have the privileges, Indigenous Arabs are crowded into controlled zones and are treated as second-class citizens.
