Anti-riot laws blm complains

Protesting shouldn't be a universal right for some folk.

It should come under the framework of free speech which means you need to be responsible with it.

Folk who are anarchists & violent and organisations that don't take appropriate measures to control their crowd/s, self-police and condemn in the strictest terms any violence/arson/looting/damage should not be allowed the same privileges when it comes to protesting and freedom of expression like everyone else does.

BLM and Antifa use this freedom of protest as a vehicle for anarchy, destruction and hate and continue to get away with it because freedom to protest is an unconditional God-given right and therefore you can't stop them. That has to stop.

“It’s important to understand that the anti-protest bills we’re seeing right now are an attempt to maintain the status quo and prevent more significant change that would lead to more equitable systems.”

Spot on. Pass all the bills you want, it's not going to change anything.

What I think is amazing is the left are still going on and on about the 4 hour riot in DC while forgetting the 8 months of riots that were pushed by the democrats that resulted in hundreds of deaths, billions of dollars in destruction in every city in the US including my sleepy county where they burned a police car and spray painted a bunch of small businesses. This is the kind of town where people will leave their doors unlocked, block parties still exist, everyone is friendly with everyone, and something that is unusual for a small town, people from all over the world thanks to the worlds largest retail has their headquarters here.
It wasn't as much of a BLM protest as it was an anti Trump protest. It was pretty much the same in every city. 'Peaceful' protest until the sun went down and the out of town vans pulled in followed by a full blown riot.

The Bill of Rights give Americans the Right to protest peacefully. NOT THE RIGHT to loot, burn, assault individuals destroy cities and neighborhoods.

And what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Aniya's shooting late Monday, less than 48 hours after another girl was struck in the head by gunfire over the weekend, came amid the latest surge of violence in Minneapolis. So far this year, the city's 27 homicides are nearly double what they were at this point in 2020, and 187 people have been wounded or killed in shootings — a tally the city didn't reach until June 21 in 2020, according to MPD crime statistics. More worryingly, 22 children have been struck by gunfire, half of them shot since March 28, the statistics show. Gunfire hits another child: Activist's granddaughter, 6, shot in head while in vehicle in Minneapolis BLack lives matter ya know...or something

Exactly. But i'd bet dollars to donuts that few, if any, of the of the rioting thugs have ever read the Constitution (if they.can read, at all).
It's not a backlash to protest it's a backlash to riots being passed of as a protest. The vast majority of Americans respect the right to peacefully protest but the vast majority also know that attacking people destroying property looting setting fires is not protesting it's rioting.
Police should do their job and deal harshly with the thieves , arsonists and brainless thugs.

You do realize that a group of pissed-off protestors doesn't give a fuck about the toothless laws that the shitheads pass so that they can pat each other's backs and hopefully gather more votes?

One said: "If you get convicted as a rioter you won't be eligible for student aid, housing assistance, nor state unemployment compensation."

Whoop-De-Fucking-Doo! Poll the protesters and see how many are thinking about those things. Laws like that only serve to make the judges let people off.

If gun laws are passed are people going to abide by them?

Are you mentally ill? (nod your head "yes").
Every gun owner I know abides by applicable gun laws.
Do your BLM lovers abide by any civil laws at all?

I know full well you want Whitey to get their defenseless heads smashed in.

I clearly did not say anything about what every gun owner does now.

If new gun restrictions are passed will gun owners accept and abide by those laws?
