Porn is a victimless crime?

As I've been thinking a lot about the ways that AI is likely to get out of control, I just saw this today

As disgusting as this behavior is, I am thrilled to learn that it's going to be taken more seriously.

Please watch This video of a round table, including First Lady Melania Trump and Senator Cruz. I have tried to remove the parts that are irrelevant, and if I find a better video, I will post it.

Edit -- The President breaks in for an announcement, but when he's done, it goes back to the original video.

I remember nearly sixty years ago when revenge porn was known as the pig board in boot camp. When a recruit's inevitable "Dear John" came from Suzy, her photo was immediately put on the platoon's bulletin board. Wasn't anymore acceptable then than it is now, but distribution was no where near what the internet has made it. I agree, it is beyond time to offer some online protections against this.

It's like when you and your lady are close to ending it, then something happens and you end up in the sack and everything is better (at least, for a while).

Okay, thanks.

I'm sure it sucks but can't the US Senate find more important things to attend to and leave that to the states?

Good point, and it's easy for me to agree because I live in a state where most folks have the good sense to lean the right way on such an issue, and the victim's dad would undoubtedly carry a weapon.

But if they tried to legislate such a thing in Washington State, it might be ignored because the left hates women and probably thinks they deserve to be assaulted so viciously, just like they deserve to be beaten to a pulp by so-called "trans" women in sports.

I'm so glad I escaped.
