The situation in Los Angeles is an insurrection, a mini war disguised as a protest challenging the right of the United States government and the American people to decide who can enter and stay in the country.

There are individuals in Southern California who want to break away and join Mexico. Some of them may have lived here for years and may even be American citizens, but their loyalty remains with Mexico. I cannot say how many people fall into this category, but as the Mexican population in Southern California increases, their numbers will likely rise. There is always a tipping point—it may be closer than you think.

However, what remains essential is maintaining the country's right to decide who can enter and who can stay. Without this control, a disbanded and disarmed army could enter the country, and reorganize, and arm itself in secret.
