Here is another powerful speech from last night's convention that was not only well done and well presented but resonated powerfully with me. This is police chief Chris Swanson talking.

Yeah, how did that hope work, when the riots started burning minority buildings and blacks murdered blacks? BLM was the new form of the old KKK, but BLM did the terror against blacks that the KKK could only wish they could do. Liars will be liars, and you can get anyone to be a shill, if you give enough money.

Truth seeking is something you should always to before you quote someone.

Your own link says the following:
The 60-year-old Democratic governor was accused by the Republican-controlled Minnesota Senate’s Joint Transportation and Judiciary and Public Safety Committee

Here is the truth:

JD Vance slams Tim Walz again over 2020 riots in Minneapolis. Here's a fact check on what the governor did at the time.

The state-commissioned report found there was "poor communication" between the city and the state, saying that "conflicting accounts" from each side indicated the other was at least partially at fault for any activation delay.

The looting and fires continued that night and into the next day. At 10:55 a.m. Thursday, Frey's office sent Walz a written request for the Guard. By 4 p.m., the governor had them activated.

If you can't do any research before you open your mouth to repeat what a biased person (like Vance) said, then you are not worth debating with.

"The truth" from SeeBS "news"....OMFG!

Truth is that Walz let the cities burn, and ordered the 3rd Precinct station house to be abandoned to the mob....The NG wasn't called up until three days after the rioting began.

Sure, if you say so.

His speech was horrible and on the same level as CNN claiming there was "mostly peaceful" protests with fire burning in the background. "Righteous anger" is him justifying the woke mobs burning down his police station, what a weak, pathetic cuck POS! And I'm sure they "put down" their riot gear after one of the protestors gave them a Pepsi.

and, when things go sideways, the guy that puts him in the emergency room will be back on the street before he is.

You must be right. I am sure you are an expert on evaluating these kinds of things.

Which speeches at the Republican convention did you find powerful? You keep on telling us that you're not biased so pony up.

For three days Minneapolis burned, blacks were killing blacks, and finally after billions of dollars were destroyed, assistant coach Walz decided to come to the rescue.

MSN
When Walz finally decided to act the night of May 28, 2020, he sent only 100 guardsmen, a scathing post-mortem from the state’s Senate revealed later that year.
Those that did arrive did little to stop the carnage, according to Minneapolis residents.
Ricardo Hernandez, 44, owner of La Michoacana Purepecha ice cream shop at 701 East Lake Street, pleaded with the National Guardsmen to intervene as rioters doused the businesses next door with gasoline.
Even CNN was there, showing what a peaceful but somewhat fiery protest was going on. Shame shit like that didnt happen to your house.

Let's see.

My list by order of strength and importance.

1) Kamala - great speech. she convinced me she is going to be a good president. That she will win against Trump
2) Michelle Obama - good speech. She reinforced my positive opinion of her and what life is really about. .
3) JB Pritzker. Powerful and to the point. Great speech
4) Doug Emhof (husband of Kamala) gave a revealing speech of how Kamala is as a wife and person
5) Police Chief Chris Swanson. - strong and powerful speech addressing a different (but important) topic. Law and order.
6) Barack Obama - good as always. Supported what the Democratic party is about.

No one else caught my attention.

And by the way, I am not biased other than with respecting people that get their message out in an intelligent and positive way.

Contrary to this, here is one of the most stupid speeches that Trump has done. It was 3 weeks ago

I addressed this on another post. It is not exactly the way you picture it. Having said that, it is possible that Walz could have handled it better. Then again, none of us is perfect and we all make mistakes. Itis the sum of everything we have done and what guidelines we believe in that adds up to whether our positives are more and better than our negatives.

If anyone looks closely, we can always find something we did that was wrong. It is the sum of all things that should be the judging factor. Walz has done much more good than bad in his life. To begin with, he dedicated 24 years of his life to serving this country in the military. That is a big positive anyway you look at it.
