Gorbachev lectures Russians on need for democracy

Irrespective of the contempt America’s Founders had for democracy, Democrats truly believe that bums like Gorbachev know more about governing than did the people who changed the world for the better.

Remember that Gorbachev was one of the Communist dictators responsible for the nine years of brutality the Afghan people suffered at the hands of Soviet Communists. The war, and the unbelievable savagery, was started by Leonid Brezhnev and continued under Gorbachev. To hear Gorbachev’s admirers tell it the old butcher never did a bad thing in his life.

NOTE: Communist brutality in Afghanistan is ignored by the same people who piss and moan over Gitmo and rough interrogation techniques.

Incidentally, the Soviet Union imploded because America had better guns than the Communists. Mikhail Gorbachev would have sold his soul to the devil to force President Reagan into removing America’s guns from Europe. RR told him to stuff it, and a few years later the Soviet Union imploded. In short: America’s arsenal and victory was bought and paid for with the tax dollars that defeated the Soviet Union, while the Chicago sewer rat, and every Democrat before him, believe that every tax dollar should be spent advancing Socialist ideology.

NOTE: Ronald Reagan did more than anyone else did to end the Cold War peacefully, yet he never won a Nobel Peace Prize. Gorbachev, a brutal Communist dictator got one. Have you ever seen an article, or heard a TV mouth, that did not mention Gorby’s 1990 Nobel Peace Prize?

On the bright, not listing Ronald Reagan with most of those Peace Prize maggots is a blessing for those of us who admired Reagan. It is really upsetting to see a few good ones included on a list that also includes characters like Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter, Albert Schweitzer, Nasser Arafat, Goofy Annan, Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Wangari Muta Maathai, Mohamed ElBaradei, Al Gore, and Barack Obama. Those few offer a small sampling that defines the political motive behind Nobel Peace Prizes.

“Gorby,” as he is affectionately referred to by his liberal admirers, founded Green Cross International an environmental outfit. If that doesn’t tell you where all the good little Communists went after the Soviet Union imploded nothing ever will. Communists would still be running an intact Soviet Union if Gorbachev had his druthers. He is now the darling of environmental fruitcakes everywhere.

Now let’s go to the Democrats and Gorbachev. I’ll begin with a brief reference to Hillary Clinton:

In 2006 the old Commie dictator praised then-Senator Clinton when he revealed that he occasionally conferred with her by telephone. He said:

"She is a great woman, and she has some legitimate ambitions."

Next, I will turn to the ever-popular Nutso:

In a speech entitled “From Swords to Plowshares, delivered in the House of Representatives on June 4, 1992, Pelosi cheered the arrival of Gorbachev to the Presidio as a tenant.

“The National Park Service is actively seeking ideas for programs and tenants at this spectacular site. Last month, former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev visited the Presidio to propose that the Gorbachev Foundation/use be located at the Presidio when the army leaves. In his words, “it is wonderful and symbolic that a military base is being converted for use by the people’.

“As the cold war ends,” Pelosi continued, “it is, indeed, fitting that this army garrison—one of the oldest in the United States—will be transformed to a monument to peace, environmental preservation and recreation as a global park.”

Pelosi whinnies from the pastures

And leave us not forget the guy who was never right about anything:

Biden’s record as a senator included his support for the nuclear freeze, cutting off funding for the Vietnam War (launching the infamous killing fields of Cambodia and the murderous overtaking of South Vietnam by the North), opposing the first Gulf War in 1991 and so on… and so on… and so on.

As history now records, SDI became a central player in ending the Cold War. It was SDI that brought the Reykjavik Reagan-Gorbachev summit to an abrupt end as Gorbachev sought to effectively end the program. Reagan would have none of it, and walked out rather than be pressured to stop SDI.

None of this impressed Biden, although he was shown to be demonstrably wrong. Thus his opposition to the program continued through the years.

Replace Biden Before It's Too Late

NOTE: Not long after Biden and the sack of shit were elected they pulled our missile defense out of Europe.

Finally, whenever Democrats engage in nation-building the rhetoric always begins with a promise of democracy. If you take a close look at their efforts you will see that they actually began nation-building (democracy) in this country in the early 20th century. Early Socialist might have had a case if they were talking about replacing a totalitarian government with democracy. America’s Founders knew better. They replaced a monarchy with a clearly enumerated limited government.

Admittedly, democracy looks good to everybody living in a totalitarian dictatorship —— not so good to people who enjoy individual liberties. That political reality is a major stumbling block for our own dirty little Communists like Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. They have to complete the task of overthrowing freedom in their own country, while Communists elsewhere take all the best of it when they promise freedom after democracy replaces whatever form of foreign government enslaves them.

p.s. Communist regimes are not burdened with promises of democracy after they give their people a taste of it.

From day one the Chicago sewer rat sold himself as a spiritual leader; so you gotta love everybody who recognize him for what he morphed into:

America’s moralist in chief . . .

I just wish conservative thinkers would stop misusing the word democracy:

The growing public anger to which the president directs our attention has as much to do with Barack Obama as with Donald Trump or Ted Cruz. Incessant moralizing doesn’t go down well in a democracy, nor does the habit of reminding others at regular intervals how much more you know than they do.

‘Imperfect’? Who, Me?

William Murchison’s fabulous piece would have been letter-perfect had he written:

Incessant moralizing doesn’t go down well with a free people, . . .

Every time well-meaning writers misuse the word democracy they play right into the hands of Communists like Gorbachev:
“We must return to a path of real democracy.”
Incidentally, a few years ago I stopped calling it the Democratic party because the best democratic ideals have become associated with the totalitarian democracy Democrats are seeking. That makes it very difficult to avoid throwing out the baby along with the bath water. In short expose democracy for the fraud it is without dumping on universal democratic ideals.

Note that Bernie Sanders plays fast and loose with the word democratic:

In none of those places, under glorious socialist rule, did (or do) the leaders and elite ever proclaim anything other than democratic intent. They acted as a “vanguard” for the people, they claimed. Elections and plebiscites were routinely held. The people’s parties won lopsided victories -- or were simply acclaimed unanimously. Fabulous marches and parades celebrated the people’s revolutions. Democracy flowered.

I do not read the Washington Post, but the title of the piece I am excerpting caught my eye. The WAPO did such a good job of promoting the democracy lie I had to comment.

First, invoking the Smoot-Hawley scare tactic does not prove America’s moral responsibility to prevent a global depression:

We do not take this position because we believe Mr. Trump is perilously wrong on the issues, although he is. His proposed tariff on Chinese imports could spark a trade war and global depression.

Second, Socialism’s tax policies enriches tax dollar millionaires while bankrupting working Americans in addition to mowing down freedoms with a scythe:

His proposed tax plan would bankrupt the government while enriching his fellow multimillionaires. But policy proposals, however ill-formed and destructive, are not the crux of the danger.

NOTE: Not even the WAPO claims that America’s standard of living went up under Socialist rule.

Most of all the democracy’s liars create a threat that can only be defeated by their political agenda:

No, Mr. Trump must be stopped because he presents a threat to American democracy.

And exactly who the hell manipulated our form of limited government more than did that piece of garbage in the White House:

Mr. Trump resembles other strongmen throughout history who have achieved power by manipulating democratic processes.

And exactly why in hell is the democracy racist scum bringing illegal aliens and United Nations refugees to this country if not to intimidate the American people with violence:

Their playbook includes a casual embrace of violence; a willingness to wield government powers against personal enemies; contempt for a free press; demonization of anyone who is not white and Christian; intimations of dark conspiracies; . . .

And exactly what the hell is the WAPO’s article if not a:

. . . propagation of sweeping, ugly lies.

Now let me paraphrase the next paragraph. My words are in red. You can read both paragraphs and decide for yourself which one is closer to the truth:

No, Mr. Obama’s global agenda must be stopped because it presents a threat to everything that made America great. Mr. Obama resembles every butcher throughout history who have achieved power by pleasing his own kind in the beginning. Their playbook includes government violence; a willingness to wield government powers against private Americans; control of television; demonization of anyone who is not black, Latino, and Muslim; world government conspiracies; and the propagation of sweeping, ugly lies. Mr. Obama has championed torture and the murder of innocent relatives of suspected non-Muslims. Mr. Obama has ignored genocide, engineered civil war in foreign countries, and disregarded the murders of journalists, and American citizens in Benghazi. He has flirted with Iranians and other Muslim & Communist supremacists. He has libeled and stereotyped wide swaths of humanity, including Americans & Christians. He considers himself exempt from constitutional norms, such as enforcing the law, reining in the bureaucrats he appointed, discharging criminal advisers, and providing government activities that voters have a right to expect.

No, Mr. Trump must be stopped because he presents a threat to American democracy. Mr. Trump resembles other strongmen throughout history who have achieved power by manipulating democratic processes. Their playbook includes a casual embrace of violence; a willingness to wield government powers against personal enemies; contempt for a free press; demonization of anyone who is not white and Christian; intimations of dark conspiracies; and the propagation of sweeping, ugly lies. Mr. Trump has championed torture and the murder of innocent relatives of suspected terrorists. He has flirted with the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacists. He has libeled and stereotyped wide swaths of humanity, including Mexicans and Muslims. He considers himself exempt from the norms of democratic contests, such as the release of tax returns, policy papers, lists of advisers and other information that voters have a right to expect.

This final excerpt is right out of Saul Alinsky’s playbook —— accuse your enemies of the very things you are doing.

A democrat disavows violence; a demagogue wields it as a threat. The Republican Party should recognize the difference and act on it before it is too late.

To defend our democracy against Trump, the GOP must aim for a brokered convention

Frankly, I do not want to save “our democracy” or save anything that smells like democracy The rest of the WAPO article wraps democracy in an attack on Donald Trump. Bottom line: Not once do democracy’s liars admit what they are tearing down in order to give us their version of utopia. They simply talk about democracy as though collectivism and slavery is an enviable —— and inevitable —— form of government.

Democracy is the road to socialism. Karl Marx

More socialism means more democracy, openness and collectivism in everyday life. Mikhail Gorbachev
Democrats poisoned by democracy as the path to Communism must surely hold Woodrow Wilson on par with Marx and Gorbachev.

On April 2, 1917 Wilson addressed Congress. He railed against submarine warfare and Germany. Indeed, he had no choice since he took it upon himself to choose sides in a foreign war when there was no military threat to America at the time, or in the foreseeable future. Wilson’s defense of his personal beliefs included the most destructive 8 words ever said by an American president:

The world must be made safe for democracy.

http://historymatters.gmu.edu/d/4943/

For the past 99 years Democrats have been keeping the world safe for democracy at the cost of individual liberties, private property Rights, freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Democrats remember every word Communist icons ever said, but they forgot the words of John Adams if they ever knew them:

John Adams hated democracy and he feared what was known in the language of the time as “passion.” Adams’s famous assessment: “I do not say that democracy has been more pernicious on the whole, and in the long run, than monarchy or aristocracy. Democracy has never been and never can be so durable as aristocracy or monarchy; but while it lasts, it is more bloody than either.” Democracy, he wrote, “never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy. It is not true, in fact, and nowhere appears in history. Those passions are the same in all men, under all forms of simple government, and when unchecked, produce the same effects of fraud, violence, and cruelty.”

What John Adams Knew
by Kevin D. Williamson March 18, 2016 4:00 AM

What John Adams Knew

NOTE: John Adams knew what he was talking about. All of Germany’s submarines did not come close to the fraud, violence, and cruelty Socialist/Communist passions engaged in since the end of World War One. Based on numbers alone, all of Nazi Germany’s horrors cannot hold a candle to the murders done by Communist governments to their own people. And everything governments did since Woodrow Wilson was done in the name of democracy.

Happily, Jeffrey Lord dissects the same Washington Post editorial that offended me to the core. Mr. Lord defends Donald Trump against the WAPO while I am more interested in exposing democracy:

Consider these ravings from the latest — I’ve lost count of the number — hysterical editorial that shrieks forth from that Fortress of Delusions and Paranoia otherwise known as the Washington Post. Headline:

The filthy lying maggot in the White House finally realizes that his carefully cultivated image as the nation’s spiritual leader is a failure in his own country; so he flies off to Cuba to administer a democracy booster shot to the people who live under Communism. Notice that the piece of garbage cited the American Revolution that was fought for independence from a totalitarian government —— the very the form of government the liar advocates —— while he dared not reference the Russian Revolutions, or the Chinese Revolution, or Mao’s Cultural Revolution after he gave the Chinese people democracy Communist-style:

”Here’s my message to the Cuban government and the Cuban people,” Obama said. ”The ideals that are the starting point for every revolution, America’s revolution, Cuba’s revolution, the liberation movements around the world, these ideals find their truest expression, I believe, in democracy.”

“Not because American democracy is perfect,” he emphasized, ”but because we’re not, and we like every country need the space that democracy gives us to change. . . . Many suggested that I come here and ask the people of Cuba to tear something down, but I’m appealing to the young people of Cuba who will lift something up, build something new.”

They are not to do anything they please to provide for the general welfare, but only to lay taxes for that purpose. To consider the latter phrase not as describing the purpose of the first, but as giving a distinct and independent power to do any act they please which may be good for the Union, would render all the preceding and subsequent enumerations of power completely useless. It would reduce the whole instrument to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and as they sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please...Certainly no such universal power was meant to be given them. It was intended to lace them up straightly within the enumerated powers and those without which, as means, these powers could not be carried into effect. You can quibble over semantics all you want. The government they framed is what we call democracy today:

"if the minority, and a small one too, are suffered to dictate to the majority, after measures have undergone the most solemn discussions by the Representatives of the people, and their Will through this medium is enacted into a law; there can be no security for life, liberty or property"

"we may define a republic to be, or at least may bestow that name on, a government which derives all its powers directly or indirectly from the great body of the people, and is administered by persons holding their offices during pleasure, for a limited period, or during good behavior. It is essential to such a government that it be derived from the great body of the society, not from an inconsiderable proportion, or a favored class of it"

1. Will European and American children, and adults, who fight violence with violence in self-defense be charged with a crime?

2. Which side will police forces and military personnel defend if a bloody upheaval erupts?

3. Will the federal government use the violence they are engineering as an excuse to confiscate guns?

4. Identifying Muslim refugee as United Nations economic refugees, or simply United Nations refugees, has been barred from appearing in Europe’s press reports as well as prohibited in our press and on television.

Parenthetically, history does not tell us what happened to Jews in Nazi Germany who fought back against the same conditions, and they were not refugees. The question is often asked “Why did the Jews march to their deaths without putting up a fight? That question is usually answered with political psycho-babble.

Perhaps it is time to ask yourself if you ever saw a movie, a television show, or read a book that explored the practical methods the government used to separate and punish Jews who fought back? I have no faith in Europe’s Socialist governments, nor do I doubt that our federal government will use the same methods against Americans who defend themselves against United Nations immigration policies.

Identifying democracy’s advocates is an excellent way to understand the war on freedom of speech. A second way is to identify those Democrats who would have fought against independence in the American Revolution? Many Colonialists were against independence. So it is not wild speculation to guess at which side today’s Democrats would have fought on.

We see the ugliest of both now combined in the most-sinister fashion with today’s War on Dissent throughout the world. That our own country was founded on the concept of protecting dissent as an essential element of revolution makes our nation’s steps in that direction all the more damning. Worse, while this has been a long-time coming, the attacks on dissenting or skeptical speech have found ever-more devious tactics in recent years.

The War on Speech Takes an Ugly Turn

The Clintons and their tax dollar parasitic followers are turning bitter because the democracy movement is coming apart at the seams. Democrat party nation-building has been a complete failure; so I wonder why Bubba would call attention to democracy in light of his wife’s Arab Spring “democracy.”

Leading Polish politician Jaroslaw Kaczynski rebuked Bill Clinton Tuesday for suggesting that the Polish people were sluggishly giving in to authoritarianism.

"Poland and Hungary, two countries that would not be free but for the United States and the long Cold War, have now decided this democracy is too much trouble," Clinton said during a rally for his wife in New Jersey Friday.

Polish Leader Tells Bill Clinton to Get His Head Checked

Bottom line: If democracy practiced by Clinton Democrats is not yet totalitarian it sure as hell is authoritarian.

p.s. Jaroslaw Kaczynski slapping down Bubba accomplished one thing —— no more Polish jokes please —— Clinton jokes is now the standard.
