LOL National pulse? The extortion was a ploy to get Levinson an ex FBI agent, that is presumed dead, rescued in Iran and if he paid the money they could see that matty boy would get a Pardon from Biden and make the whole thing go away. The people extorting heard about the investigation and had nothing to do with the initial investigation of matty through some republican political operatives associated with Joel Greenberg. Two separate investigations that ended up tying into each other.
