Before I run off denouncing this as a totally bad thing, I'd want to know who was shot and what it was over! I mean, if 30 of the Chicago City Council who run the city all shot each other at their next board meeting, it might actually be a good thing for the city! So the problem isn't the guns or the number being shot, but who is being taken out and why.
I saw a piece on the news last night where Kotek was claiming there was no need for intervention from the feds as Portland is "safe" The video showed peaceful streets in the DAYTIME. The only video depicting violence was outside of the ICE facility at NIGHT and there was no local police presence. So the left's narrative is that everything in Portland is hunky dory EXCEPT at the ICE facility and they won't police that violence---NOR do they feel like the feds should be able to defend themselves.
