I always thought the use of ethanol was a give-away to farmers to make the gas go farther, but never thrilled with it. I use non-ethenol gas for all my outdoor power equipment.

Yes we've known Ethanol is a boondoggle for many years. Even in the beginning.
We know that because OF science.

But we have ethanol anyway because the Right Wing Farm States have a large amount representation relative to their small population (every state has 2 senators no matter how small/sparse) and they make big money because of it.
Like other farm subsidies.

Total BS study! Never mentioned reduction in toxic MTBE, engine knock/pinging, cleaner fuel system, better feed DDG's reducing livestock methane emissions that are 10x worse than carbon.
