Well said. But one thing not often mentioned is, it is difficult even to imagine the exact fact pattern that the conspiracy theorists propose. Election rigging is commonly understood to mean things like, tampering with ballot boxes or their electronic equivalent, vandalizing polling places, spreading mis-information at critical times (of many different types).

But the "crime" here is nothing more than spreading accurate and truthful copies and summaries of emails. Even if effective, it hardly amounts to an electoral crime, it is merely an invasion of privacy, coupled with a helpful public service. If the damaging information were of a sexual nature, would anyone be proposing that the person who released the photos was responsible for throwing the election? I doubt it. The personal peccadillo would be seen as the real issue.

And a far more telling blow to the HRC campaign was the fact of her nefarious conduct to try to keep her electronic communications secret and outside the purview of the Freedom of Information Act, something which thinking voters might well have considered a large strike against her. "The Russians," (whoever that might be) had absolutely nothing to do with that.

The expression "Witch Hunt" is especially apropos, for the following reason: Witches do not in fact exist (except in their own minds). There is no tangible evidence, and even no credible theory, that supports the existence of the "crime" that Trump is supposedly covering up ("It's always the cover-up that gets them!")

Fake. News.

Yep, the alleged "collusion" with Russia, as liberals seem to say it, is that Russia hacked the DNC/Hillary and exposed their crimes/corruption with Trump's consent and/or approval. Even if that's true, so fucking what? That's the game of politics.
