Annie Glenn Dead at 100

She was dedicated to John.

Hilarious story about her. When John's mission was about to begin, Lyndon Johnson wanted to get a photo-op comforting Ann in her living room as John lifted off. She wouldn't let him in, and John backed her up from the launch pad.
It was always assumed she didn't want him to come in with his photograpers because she had a bad stutter, and didn't want to look bad on camera.
Later she said her stutter didn't have anything to do with it. It was a really bad headache that had been with her for several days keeping her awake at night. She just didn't want to deal with the VP under those circumstances.
It goes without saying that Johnson who was quite used to getting his way, wasn't too pleased. :auiqs.jpg:

She died in a nursing home. Does that ring a bell with Cuomo supporters when the governor ordered nursing homes to admit patients infected with the virus?

Nursing home in St Paul.

Isnt that another one if those blue states, where they take that virus seriously?

Aren't hundred year old nursing home patients in New York just as important as the wife of a former U.S. senator?
