Some sort of UBI is inevitable at some point in the future.

And so would be the inevitable collapse in living standards & mass chaos if we ever let that come about.

Supporting the entire population with a fiat currency, crypto or other, would result in a total dependency on govt.
A welfare state encompassing the globe is unsustainable but render us as no better than slaves before it fell under it's own weight of incompetence & corruption
Good thing we'll never surrender our 2A rights to the gun grabbers, no matter what they may do.

Entire population? I don't know what it will look like exactly but with the inevitable march of technology which will replace more and more workers, it's inevitable.

It's only inevitable because the most powerful forces on Earth are pushing for it to happen quickly & the vast majority of useless eaters are oblivious to the danger the entire system is in.
We have built an interconnected global system with the design of a Jenga tower & have been slowly removing the pieces for a while.
That crash is inevitable but it won't be the controlled implosion the elites are hoping for while the UBI won't be the carrot they think it will be to entice the pissed off survivors
