Not so. Pleading the 5th does not prevent a conviction. The accused may not testify, but everyone else can.

the congress can't do that. they have no authority.

His boss, James Comey tried to throw him under the bus. partially resulting in the IG recommending his indictment.

Were I McCabe, I would be more than a little pi$$ed and possibly out to even the score. McCabe has already publicly declared Comey 'misled' and should not be believed. The fireworks in court should be, potentially, something to see.

He knows he is already guilty of obstruction, lying to Congress, and several other crimes. Lets prosecute these things out, and if needed give a reduced sentence for cooperation. No blank immunity.

I agree. Every citizen have constitutional rights, even criminals don't lose most. What I am saying is, if you are federal government worker sworn in to uphold and protect the Constitution, and than you break that, should you still have those protections?

He can plea fifth, and that's fine, since his crimes were already proven. It' won't help him if he doesn't talk.
