And so it begins.

You have it backwards. The reason he declared his candidacy was to be able to claim the inevitable indictments he knew were coming (because the evidence was so compelling) were attempts at election interference.
And again with the mindreading. When you have a prosecutor literally running for office on a promise to "get" a civilian who then does exactly that, you will NOT convince anyone that fair play is afoot.

It is the timing that is suspect. And yes, I believe that he would not be facing charges today if he had said, "The heck with it, I'm out of here".
On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president in 2024. Isn’t this wildly early, you might ask? Yes, yes, it is—it’s the earliest presidential candidacy declaration for a non-incumbent major candidate in modern history.

The rushed nature of Trump’s announcement—coming also before we even know the final outcome of last week’s midterms—has raised speculation that Trump is announcing his bid only as a way to avoid prosecution. Indeed, there’s been reporting for months that Trump would try to use a candidacy to deter an indictment by the Department of Justice in the Mar-a-Lago case and other cases, hoping that Attorney General Merrick Garland would find such a prosecution too politically toxic and essentially give Trump a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Now that I've backed you in to a corner it's time for you to claim "fake news."

Really? You've managed to find some other people who think they can read minds and dare me to say it's fake. Whoop-de-do. Slate and Rolling Stone magazine, no wonder you wanted to pre-empt the "fake news" bit.

Righting our country will not be achieved by party rule.
Simple fact, and the silly infighting go's on & on & on.

Yes, the law trump signed was in place before this election. The one he is in violation of. It was meant to prevent the ethics violations trump is already breaking.

Exactly how is he breaking the law, he's not the president. Come on soy boi, lay it out for the class. LMAO

No one has to read minds.

You're going in circles. What bearing does trump's judge's ruling on Smith's appointment have on the evidence presented to the grand juries?
Why do you think I’m going in circles?

He was illegally appointed…from the start

That's not a constitutional augment. There have been many law enacted that weren't constitutional.

Please don't use your ignorance, and laziness, as an excuse to have spoon fed to you what I have already provided evidence for. Do some reading.

You've said that numerous times now, hence going in circles. The matter was being adjudicated in an appeals court.........but won't now..........since trump will vacate the indictment.

Your excuses are becoming more outlandish.
I have no excuses for xiden and trump team not having an agreement yet. Not sure why they don’t.

Not surprised thiugh, as you link says the reason for the update was because Obama and xiden refused to turn over docs when trump first won

trump hasn't signed so he doesn't have to comply with ethics requirements. Don't play stupid. Unless..............

Signed what? They haven’t come to an agreement as your link states they have to

The matter isn’t on appeal anymore Smith conceded and dropped the case

If trump wants to challenge the constitutionality of the law he signed I'm sure his court will hear the case. He hasn't. Therefore he is still bound by its conditions.

Or he can chose to ignore it, like xiden has with immigration laws. Of course you aren't concerned with your side ignoring the law. RIGHT?
