There really isn't a project 2025 although I wish there was.
Wow! You do know that your statement about there being "no project 2025" means you absolutely do no research and know nothing, don't you?
Here, let me help you (I like to help mentally handicapped people get where they are going). There is a lot of tangible and well documented information below. None of the information below is opinion and none of the information below is from biased sources. The agenda is directly from the project itself and the information about the people that are part of (and support) Project 2025 and that Trump has NOMINATED to his cabinet comes directly from Forbes. Even then, it does not matter where it comes from, given that it is simply data that is publicly known.
Trump has denied having knowledge of 2025 or supporting it, but this information clearly shows that he is lying.
I know that this is a lot to read and you probably won't do it (I really don't care if you do, or whether you believe it or not) but it is now official that I gave the information and with as much fact and detailed information as is available. It shows that you do no research and are ignorant of the facts.
in 2022, The Heritage Foundation, a conservative-leaning think tank, and 140 former Trump staffers authored Project 2025 -- which is a roadmap for how to replace the rule of law with ring-wing ideals.
Here, in clear and DETAILED terms is the agenda of Project 2025
Takes Over the Government to Assert Total Control● Guts Checks and Balances:
Consolidated unchecked presidential power by purging the civilservice, firing independent agency leaders, destroying entire agencies, and conditioning federalfunding on political fealty. Project 2025 compromises the ability of every civil servant to uphold thelaw and forces them to serve the president at the expense of the publicPolitical Purge of the Civil Service: Imposes loyalty tests and purges thousands ofindependent civil servants so that the president can give control to thousands of politicaloperatives, hand-picked for their unquestioned loyalty to the president regardless ofqualifications, expertise, or commitment to constitutional duty.● Seizes control of independent agencies: Fires independent agency leaders and forcesindependent agencies from the Federal Reserve to the FDA and the FCC to the CIA toprioritize the narrow interests of the president over their expertise, professional judgmentand constitutional duty.3● Weaponizes the Justice System:
Ends the independence of the DOJ, FBI and White HouseCounsel so that the president can turn them into the enforcement arms of the president, including politicizing law enforcement, controlling prosecutions, targeting politicalopponents, and enforcing his agenda.● Usurp the Power of the Purse: Alludes to a plan developed by the architects of Project 2025to resurrect the Impoundment Act so that the president can unilaterally blockcongressionally-mandated spending.● Undermines Congressional Oversight:
Evades the Senate’s constitutional obligation togive advice and consent on the president’s appointees and obstructs transparency, accountability and oversight.Threatens Personal Freedoms and Rights● Slashes Reproductive Freedom in Every State: Criminalizes medication abortionsnationwide, bans abortion pills, creates an “abortion surveillance” regime to monitor allpregnancies to prosecute potential miscarriages, restricts birth control, and limits accessto fertility services like IVF. It declares that the “Dobbs decision was just the beginning.”● Attacks LGBTQ+ Americans: Declares that anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination should be legal, rescinds nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ+ Americans, undermines the rights ofsame-sex married couples, criminalizes gender nonconformity, bans transgender peoplefrom the military, weaponizes federal law to require states and private actors todiscriminate against transgender people, and dismantles services for LGBTQ+ Americanswherever possible, including by mandating the federal government to officially adopt thestance that marriage is only between a man and woman.● Undermines Racial Equality:
Defunds services for underserved communities andemboldens racial discrimination in everything from housing to education to employmentby systematically eliminating programs and policies that prevent discrimination or promoteracial diversity, equity and inclusion. It further hinders efforts to address racial inequalitiesby prohibiting the collection of data related to race and ethnicity and by firing any federalemployee that participated in a DEI program. In specific programs, it would absolve policedepartments under federal oversight for racial discrimination and wipe out the Office ofCivil Rights responsible for protecting students and educators from discrimination.● Rolls Back Women’s Rights: On top of an unprecedented assault on reproductivefreedom and sexual health,
Project 2025 calls for the removal of “gender equality” or“gender equity” from every piece of federal legislation and reverses every policy, regulation and executive order aimed at promoting gender equality, including immediatedissolving the Gender Policy Council. Repeals any programs “subsidizing singlemotherhood” and eliminates services for working families, including overtime pay andHead Start. Rewrites Title IX and makes it harder to report sexual harassment and assault● Mass Detainments and Deportations: Carries out large-scale raids across the countryto round up and detain millions of immigrants who have been living and working here fordecades, including DREAMERs. Millions of people would be forced into detention campsnear the border and deported en masse as part of the largest domestic deportationoperation in American history.●
Deploys the Military Domestically to Quash Protests: The secret 180-Day Playbookreportedly includes a plan for Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act so that he can deploy the4military to any state for domestic law enforcement and to put down protests and silencepolitical opponents.●
Curtails Free Speech: Directs the DOJ to investigate and prosecute private actors involvedin promoting equity and inclusion programs, rolls back online free speech protections, andcontemplates denying access to the White House Press Corps.● Outlaws Pornography and Bans Books: Seeks to outlaw pornography and imprisonanyone involved in producing or distributing it. It implies that LGBTQ+ materials areinherently pornographic, which is the pretext for book banning. Hence it seeks to registereducators and librarians that share information related to transgender people as sexoffenders. It also wants to shut any technology company that distributes the sameHurts the Middle Class and Working Families●
Ends Social Security and Medicare as we know them: Rips retirement and healthcaresecurity from America’s seniors. Although Project 2025 claims that Social Security and theMedicare Trust Fund “could not be covered here in depth,” this conceals the fact that Project2025’s architects openly call for cutting Social Security, raising the retirement age, andturning Medicare into a privatized voucher program. Project 2025 also explicitly declares thatit will make Medicare Advantage the default option, which would shift millions of seniors offof traditional Medicare and serve as a backdoor for privatization. It also eliminates theMedicare Shared Savings Program.●
Raises prescription drug prices: Undoes Medicare’s new ability to negotiate prescriptiondrug prices, eliminates the $35 monthly limit on insulin prices, and abolishes the cap on outof-pocket drug expenses for seniors.● Guts Medicaid: Threatens to kick up to 18.5 million Americans off Medicaid by imposingdraconian time limits or lifetime caps. Recommends further gutting Medicaid by turning itinto an underfunded block grant or voucher program.●
Cripples Public Education: Completely eliminates the Department of Education, slashespublic school funding, and redirects taxpayer dollars to religious private schools.● Eliminates Head Start: Eliminates the Head Start program, which provides preschooleducation for over 1 million children in low-income families. Project 2025 also rejectsuniversal child care.● Slashes food assistance: Guts SNAP and WIC while rejecting efforts to offer free universalschool meals.● Ends overtime pay: Allows employers to stop paying overtime and rolls back overtimeprotections.●
Raises taxes on the middle class and cuts taxes for wealthiest corporations andindividuals: Restructures the tax code to lower taxes for large corporations and wealthyindividuals offset by tax increases on middle class families.Increases housing costs: Slashes funding for affordable housing, increases mortgageinsurance premiums on FHA loans, and restricts eligibility for first-time homebuyerprograms.● Multiplies the costs of higher eduction and blocks student debt relief: Ends existingaffordable student loan repayment plans, privatizes all student loans, and eliminatesstudent loan forgiveness for teachers, nurses, law enforcement officers, public servants,5and other eligible borrowers. It also calls for legislation to repeal any option for a studentfriendly administration to cancel or forgive student loans.● Rolls Back Labor Protections: Guts the capacity of the NLRB and EEOC to protect workersand calls for state waivers from key labor standards such as the minimum wage, overtimepay and right to organize. It also makes it harder for workers to organize and form unions, andit eviscerates child labor standards that protect children from hazardous jobs.●
Abandons our Veterans: Slashes federal jobs held by veterans and drastically limits thedisability benefits for which veterans can qualify. It also bans transgender troops fromservice, revokes the VA’s ability to provide abortion-related care, and slashes the number ofgeneral officers.
Puts Americans in Greater Danger● Destabilizes the Economy: Compromises the autonomy, professionalism andeffectiveness of the civil service and independent agencies like the Federal Reserve and FCCwhich are responsible for protecting the stability of our economy through durable governingcapabilities.● Hurts Election Integrity: Eliminates CYBERCOM’s role in protecting U.S. elections fromcyberattacks, including from foreign actors.● Damages Allies and Global Stability: Reorients alliances and pulls out of internationalorganizations aimed at maintaining global peace and prosperity.● Undermines National Security: Strips disfavored Purges the Intelligence Community ofdisfavored experts and civil servants to empower cronies loyal only to Trump, regardless oftheir qualifications disfavored experts and civil servants non-loyalists IntelligenceCommunity/National Security● Undermines Public Safety: Makes it easier for people who want to commit violence to carryguns and harder for law enforcement to solve violent crimes.● Threatens Consumer Safety: Curtails consumer protections and privatizes or politicizesthe FDA, FAA, TSA, and other agencies responsible for ensuring that our food, medicines, travel and products remain the safest in the world.●
Endangers Critical Health Research: Politicizes, restricts and ends NIH grants or investments inresearch labs and universities working to cure Alzheimers, cancer, and other health issues.● Limits Life-Saving Weather Alerts: Privatizes the weather service, which is responsible forpreparing for extreme weather events such as heat waves, floods and wildfires. This will forceAmericans to pay for weather data and restrict access to life-saving weather alerts.● Reverses Climate Action:
Cuts scientific and climate research, dismantle environmentalprotections, and sell off federally protected public lands to the highest bidder. It alsodisbands the Environmental Protection Agency, undermining clean air and waterprotections.
Trump has stated he know nothing about Project 2025 and that he does not support it, but...
Trump has named several administration picks who have ties to Project 2025, an
agenda crafted by the Heritage Foundation and other conservative groups that proposes a total overhaul of the executive branch in a second Trump administration, even as he has publicly denounced the project.
The president-elect defended those picks to
TIME when asked about hiring people affiliated with the policy map, saying, “If we had a few people that were involved, they had hundreds of them” and noting Project 2025, which has dozens of contributors behind it, is a “big document.”
Russell Vought: Trump has nominated Vought to lead the Office of Managment and Budget—his previous role in Trump’s first term—after Vought authored Project 2025’s chapter on the Executive Office of the President of the United States and reportedly spearheaded the project’s
playbook for Trump’s first 180 days, with secret camera
footage published by the Centre for Climate Reporting showing him claiming Trump had “blessed” the project and is “very supportive of what we do.”
Peter Navarro: Trump’s former trade advisor—who recently got out of prison for being held in contempt—has now been named to serve as senior counselor for trade and manufacturing, after Navarro authored a Project 2025 chapter on “the case for fair trade” that advocated for more restrictions on trade like the
tariffs Trump has already proposed.
Paul Atkins: Trump’s pick to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission is listed as a contributor to Project 2025’s section on Federal Regulatory Agencies, which calls for broad reforms at the SEC that gets rid of regulations that the authors believe are “impediments” to companies’ success and opposing social justice, sustainability, diversity and other similar campaigns in the business world.
Brendan Carr: Trump’s nominee to chair the Federal Communications Commission, who already serves there as one of five lower-ranking commissioners, authored Project 2025’s
chapter on the FCC, in which he proposed reining in big tech and putting a bigger focus on national security—including making it easier to hold social media companies liable for content on their platforms and banning TikTok (a move Trump
doesn’t support).
Tom Homan: Trump’s proposed “border czar” will return to the Trump administration after previously serving as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and is listed as a contributor to Project 2025 and a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, authoring a number of
articles for the organization on immigration policy.
John Ratcliffe: Trump named Ratcliffe as CIA director after the official previously served as Trump’s director of national intelligence; he’s credited as a contributor to Project 2025, with the agenda’s chapter on the intelligence community citing an interview with Ratcliffe about working in the first administration.
Monica Crowley: Crowley served as assistant secretary of the Treasury during Trump’s first term and contributed to Project 2025’s section on the Treasury Department, though Trump has now tapped her as assistant secretary of state, saying her role will include serving as the administration’s representative for events like the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028.
Michael Anton: Trump picked Anton to be director of policy planning at the State Department, after Anton—formerly the spokesperson at the National Security Council—was listed as a contributor to Project 2025’s chapter on the Executive Office of the President.
Project 2025’s website also previously listed America First Legal, an organization run by incoming Trump policy chief
Stephen Miller, as one of the groups involved with the project, but the group later
removed its name from Project 2025’s website after Trump started criticizing the effort, and Miller denied having any affiliation with it in a July statement to ABC.
In addition to its policy agenda, Project 2025 also compiled a LinkedIn-style database for prospective conservative staffers, which NBC News
reports the Trump transition team is using to identify staff for the incoming administration despite Trump’s public opposition to Project 2025.
