After watching Biden's dismal and gloomy inaugural speech the other day full of talk of a government labeling whole populations of millions of people as suspects and domestic threats to be watched, censured and stamped out of existence surrounded by battalions of troops, I thought it might be interesting, and refreshing to have a look back at four years ago and see Trump's inauguration again.
I invite you to take a minute, go back and watch it and see what a shocking difference it was, full of hope and brightness and growth for this country, from beginning to end, with inclusivity. Skip around, pick out your favorite moments, look at the faces, the expressions, they are very telling, or just skip to about 3 hours in for Trump's swearing in and inaugural speech--- who could find his uplifting message at fault?
A field of attendees as far as the camera could see all the way to the Lincoln Memorial, not little flags
A NEW AMERICAN PRESIDENT
What is most shocking was the THEME of Trump's inaugural speech. What a contrast. The entire thing was about YOU! About the PEOPLE, that for too long, government was totally self-serving and prospered itself while it's people did not. It was about taking power from Washington and returning it back to the people, that it was a capitol of the people, a city of the people and we were a nation OF THE PEOPLE. Trump's message was that he would be a president of ACTIONS and not just words. And he was.
LOOK AT ALL OF THE WHITE SUPREMACISTS, INSURRECTIONISTS and SEDITIONISTS!
Just thought you could use one last look back at what a real inauguration looks like, what a healthy nation looks like, and what having a real leader and president of the people looked like.
