And now, a quick look back to Jan. 29, 2020.

How many tarriffs does Canada impose on us?
Whatever Mr. Art of the Deal negotiated with them in his first term.

You have to be a cuck of epic proportions to think Canada deserves to have 25% tariffs imposed on it for not stopping 100% of the fentanyl going in to the US.
they are allowing it, so they are the ones to end it.

/----/ Well, call me cuck all you want. We have a right to protect our borders, and Canada has an obligation to stop drug trafficking of any size.
Besides, the 25% tariff includes illegals crossing over.
CBP reported encountering 19,498 migrants between border posts on the northern border between October 2023 and July 2024 — 15,612 of them in the Swanton Sector, which runs along Quebec's border with New York and Vermont.

While the numbers still pale in comparison with the U.S southern border, that's more than twice as many as the 7,630 encountered between border posts during the same time period the previous year.
Trump is using the paucity of illegals and drugs as a smokescreen, and you are falling for it.

/—-/ Trump put a stop to the 25% tariff the Canadians put on electricity.
The Canadians put the tariff on electricity in retaliation for the Trump tariffs. Not the other way around.

Here's how a Trump hoax works.

1. Implement tariffs on ally.

2. Ally responds with retaliatory tariffs.

3. Trump removes tariffs to get ally to remove retaliatory tariffs.

4. Ally removes retaliatory tariffs. Everything goes back to status quo.

5. Trump declares victory and rubes celebrate his playing of 4D chess.

With the Trump's 1st term personal income tax decrease soon expiring, an extension is most likely with tariffs enabling a shift of the tax burden more evenly across class boundaries.
