Sort of an offensive name, the fellow really should look to change it if he is going to be in the public eye.

"Diego" sounds too close to a slur for the Italian people, and they might take offense.

and in 2025, just after beating LSU...

does the pose...

LOL!!!

Thank You, Diego Pavia, the greatest ever Vanderbilt football player.

Win or lose the next two, we are wonderfully privileged to have had you for the past two seasons. You gave us talent, spirt, a 'tude, and wow was that a great comeback win today...

When Vandy wins 4 SEC games in a season, that is AWESOME!!!

LOVE THIS TEAM!!!

SEC Win #5 - highest ever, first ever Vandy winning season in SEC football
9 wins - tied for highest ever with at least 2 games to go

Already the greatest ever Vandy football team.

We'll see what happens this weekend. There are "too many 2 loss Power 5 teams" and Vandy needs a huge win at UT and help.

Vandy fans are also cheering for

Stanford over Notre Dame
Ohio State over Michigan
Auburn over Alabama
LSU over OU
Pitt over da U
UCF over BYU
Kansas over Utah

and Vandy likely needs 3 of those plus a big win at UT to make it.

Oh well, Vandy and Ohio State came through, nobody else did....

But, will the NCAA really punt out a 10 win SEC team with....

The current top Heisman Trophy odds are favoring Indiana's Fernando Mendoza, followed closely by Ohio State's Julian Sayin. Mendoza has odds around +125, while Sayin is listed at approximately +130. Other contenders include Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia, with odds around +333, and Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love at +1400.

Has the Heisman ever lost some luster? I know there are other awards, but the same two positions receive the award. Seems less meaningful.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza is the Heisman favorite with -1600 odds following the Hoosiers' 13-10 win against Ohio State to capture the Big Ten title. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia's odds fell to +800.
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love and Buckeyes signal-caller Julian Sayin own +5500 and +6000 odds, respectively.

Why is Mendoza rising if his team only scored 13 points??

Pavia is college football's outstanding player this year.
